Hey everyone! I don't use this thing nearly as often as I should, but many people have wondered where I've been lately. Due to Covid-19 my internet has been less than stellar and I haven't been able to stream as regularly as normal. Fast forward to today though and things are starting to get back to normal, except I'm no longer streaming live on YouTube. I've decided to stream on Twitch and then post edited replays here on YouTube!

What's up everyone! I'm back from Vacation and starting to work on more content! I'll be streaming Resident Evil 2 this coming week as well as Ace Combat 7. Then the following week I'll be doing a community play date with Super Smash Bros and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on Nintendo Switch!

Getting back into the grind again, can't wait to see ya'll on the streams!

Hello everyone, Monkiedude22 here with a state of the channel update for 2019.

2018 was a good year for the channel in terms of growth and in content. Back in January I said that I would be taking a more Live focus in terms of lets plays and bringing more interaction to the channel. I believe I've found a good consistency with the Minecraft Nick World Streams, but I know that not everyone who subscribes is into that sort of thing. While I love doing the Nick World streams, I do want to branch out to other games and community lets plays.

Going forward into 2019 I will be making a bigger effort to do more community games and update folks on the channel every week, both here and on my Twitter @Monkiedude22. I also will be bringing out the Live Help Streams on a weekly basis in February. I'm looking to do these for 2 hours every Sunday. The format will be a live Q&A session where people can ask questions or ask for help.

I've recently begun a new job where I'm working evening shifts, so I'm going to be doing some more stuff during the day or evening for folks in the UK. I'm still working out the schedule, but you will see streams on a more regular basis.

Starting in February, you'll also see a return to more of the content I posted previously which is more updates, support videos, and social commentary. Over the last few months, I've been in a job transition, which has prevented me from being able to work on those videos as I'd ideally want to. Now that things have settled down, I can begin to focus and spend more time on that content. I have been spending more time on the Minecraft stuff so that I can produce more shows like the Minecraft GUTS shows in the future for the channel.

So in the future, you'll be seeing Support and Tutorial videos for Upcoming games, Consoles such as the Xbox, PlayStation and Switch as well as updates to Xbox Game Pass and more information about these games and if they're worth a closer look. I'm also working on a new series that I think Xbox fans will really enjoy!

Here's what the channel has done in terms of raw numbers in 2018 as well as how that compares to 2017.

Subscribers Gained - 4,576 (2017 - 3,175)
Shares - 4,398 (2017 - 2,368)

Likes - 15,672 (2017 - 8,875)
Dislikes - 2,023 (2017 - 1,460)

Overall It was an amazing year full of growth month over month in most cases. I'm truly thankful for everyone who comments and clicks the like button on the video. It really helps with getting these videos to the top of the search page and getting the content to the people who need it most.

My goal was to hit 10,000 subscribers by the end of the year, which was a very high bar I set for myself and the channel, but with some snags and delays in being able to push content, we missed it by a little over a thousand and a half. I'm still amazed that the channel has been able to jump over the 8,000 mark and beyond. It's really amazing to watch.

If history shows, and the channel trends as it currently is, it should reach 20,000 Subscribers by the end of 2019. I'm looking forward to the next milestone of 10,000 subscribers and beyond. I'm really proud to go on this amazing journey with everyone and so happy folks are enjoying the content enough to hit the subscribe button.

When we reach 10,000 Subscribers, I'm going to be doing a big giveaway full of prizes, games and even a console or two. So keep an eye out for that!

I'm going to be going on vacation from January 18th through the 28 for some fun in the sun at Disney World, but when I get back, we're going to kick the tires and light the fires in February and really knock it out of the park.

Hey everyone, I was recently given the option to test a wired lav mic from a new company called Pop Voice! If you're new to streaming or live vlogging with a phone and on an budget, this lav mic is a really good option for $13.
