Welcome to Emberline Training.
This channel offers professional education and compassionate insight surrounding end-of-life care, pregnancy and infant loss support, and caregiver wellness.
Emberline Training is a registered business founded by a certified End-of-Life and Infant/Pregnancy Loss Doula with an extensive background in palliative and home care. Loss doula work is the foundation. Companion work is how you make it full-time.
Start supporting families through pregnancy loss or end-of-life. Then stack it — grief & bereavement, pet loss, dementia caregiving, caregiver burnout — each one its own certification, each one widening who you can support.
One calling. Multiple ways to build a real career out of it.

Even pets feel the loss when a companion animal dies — pacing, withdrawal, going quiet for weeks. Faithful Hearts is a certification training that prepares you to support the whole household through pet loss, not just the human left behind.
Inside the training: species-specific grief content, real case studies, structured reflection work, and a full certification pathway with directory listing upon completion.

Looking back, 2018 was a major milestone. Appearing on @breakfasttelevision
to discuss specialized doula care was a pivotal moment in my journey.
At the time, I was working alongside the Home Hospice Association (HHA)—an incredible Toronto-based non-profit organization dedicated to providing families with the vital financial and community support required to navigate end-of-life care. While that chapter came to a natural close and I am no longer with HHA, the lessons learned there were invaluable.
That foundation inspired me to step out independently and bring that vital care framework closer to home. For a while now, I have been building that exact momentum here in Quebec through my own business, Emberline Training (Formation Emberline).
Today, our mission is fully in motion. Through interactive, non-vocational workshops and intensive training tracks, we are directly equipping local informal caregivers and families with the practical, hands-on skills they need to transform personal loss into a path of resilience.
This segment is a beautiful reminder of where the public advocacy started, and I am proud to keep driving this work forward every day.
