a tsundere is a trope of character usually in japanese media who, when they like someone, pretends to be rude and hostile towards them to mask their feelings
most common example you might see online is when they do something helpful for you and then go ‘yeah well it’s not because i like you “baka”’, despite liking the person (baka means idiot but if i phrase it the way i did it’s easier to understand)
