Another face-forward video on this guy's channel. For everyone saying that this guy can't get demonetized, why would he even bother showing his face? These videos are some of this worst performing. I'm pretty sure that just because you're in a CMS/MCN, you're not immune. Shielded, sure. But not immune.

My thoughts on video creation for 2026:

For YouTube, it's hard to say since their guidelines seem to be evolving (and becoming more aggressive). Which I agree with to some degree.

However, as in war, there are always casualties that don't deserve to be punished.
It seems to me that going forward, AI is acceptable, how there must be a certain level of "quality" to it that YouTube is looking for.

I've been thinking about this, and I think that they don't want "static image slideshows" (even with effects) but rather video clips, even AI generated, are okay.

Essentially, I don't think it's about the videos being fully AI, I think it's moreso that they want videos that are either original/authentic (vlog, commentary, reactions) OR AI videos that actually provide entertainment/educational value WITH visual appeal.

For example: if I went back and did the lore videos again, instead of the static images, I would have gameplay on screen with maybe an AI avatar narrating or "playing the game" in the lower corner of the screen. Or I would have virtual tours of the game world, even if they looped at some point. Or if it was mostly images, they would change more frequently through the video with lots of effects.

I understand this destroys the whole "TubeGen" model style of video, but it's probably for the best. 

Going forward, I think sleep videos themselves can still technically work, but with more happening on screen as opposed to just images with effects. In the very least, add something human like the voiceover or clips of yourself, even if it's not for the voice. I think gameplay works really well for this.

I really feel like this is the direction YouTube would prefer to go.

I could be wrong of course, but I think this would have a much higher chance of success.

A compilation of videos that you have rights to might also work, but there would still have to be some kind of additional "thing" to make it monetizable.

Who really knows other than YouTube themselves.
