Would covering Lesbian Space Princess be considered clout chasing if I covered it when the initial clouting period has already passed?

I’m starting to think the “support original animated movies” thing is actually more of an “us” problem…

Join my patreon and find out why that is before it goes public in one week.

I find it so ironic that in a world where destitution, sexual violence, and bloodshed have been so disgustingly normalized, the most morally upstanding character in the show is the corporate mascot.

I really need to know what happened to the animation pipeline in the last two decades that makes it impossible for cartoons to look as polished as they were in the 2000s.

By far the most important lesson Apothecary Diaries has taught me is that I'm absolutely hopeless at understanding family trees.

Finished up Chainsmoker Cat today.

Gross-out humor is measured not by the laughs, but by the cringe, and this series was mostly successful in that. I think at some point the show realized it needed to explore the humanity of its characters more for the literal shit jokes to hit harder, hence the more subdued middle episodes.

Yaku is best cat.

Just got back from watching Forgotten Island.

It's unfortunate that shareholders think animated movies need to be a loud, overstimulating cacophony of fast cuts in order to keep kids' attention span because holy fuck that third act was some of the most phenomenal storytelling I've ever seen put on the big screen.

I’d probably subscribe to Eunice if I didn’t have (some) standards.

I watched the Ray Gunn trailer and I can see why this took so long to release.

No fast cuts, a restrained animation style, adult characters that don't scream their guts out every five seconds...everything that modern hollywood says won't appeal to kids born in the TikTok generation but appeals very much to old farts like me.

Oh and horny - I forgot to mention horny.
