Did you know? π€―
π Clinical Pearl:
The right main bronchus is wider, shorter, and more vertical than the left. That's why inhaled foreign bodies are more likely to enter the right lung, especially in children.
π‘ Less Known Fact:
Your lungs themselves don't feel pain! Lung tissue lacks pain receptors. Pain in lung diseases usually comes from the pleura, chest wall, or diaphragm.
These tiny anatomy details can make a huge difference in both exams and clinical practice.
π Save this post for revision and comment your answer below:
Why is the right bronchus more prone to aspiration?

β€οΈ HUMAN HEART | MBBS Anatomy Series
The human heart is far more than a simple pump. Understanding its anatomy, coronary circulation, conduction system, and clinical correlations is essential for every medical student.
π In this carousel: βοΈ Anatomically accurate labeled heart diagram
βοΈ High-yield MBBS anatomy notes
βοΈ Clinical pearl on coronary artery occlusion & ECG changes
βοΈ Less-known fact about Thebesian veins
π‘ Clinical Pearl:
LAD occlusion commonly causes anterior wall myocardial infarction with ST elevation in leads V1βV4. Early ECG recognition can be life-saving.
π¬ Less Known Fact:
Thebesian veins drain venous blood directly into the cardiac chambers and contribute to the physiological right-to-left shunt responsible for a small part of the normal alveolar-arterial oxygen gradient.
