Makeup & Mobility

Hi, I’m so glad you’re here! Welcome to Makeup & Mobility — a space where I blend flawless glam with fearless advocacy.

I share makeup looks I love, adaptive beauty tips, and honest conversations about disability, accessibility, and breaking stereotypes. As a disabled woman, I’m passionate about challenging beauty standards and showing that mobility aids and makeup brushes absolutely belong in the same space.

This channel is about empowerment, representation, and reminding you that glam belongs to every body. Beauty is powerful. Disability is not a limitation. Confidence is unstoppable. 💄♿✨

Makeup & Mobility

36 Years of the ADA ❤️♿

Today, we celebrate the 36th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)—a landmark law that opened doors, challenged barriers, and affirmed that people with disabilities deserve equal opportunities and access.

At Makeup & Mobility, accessibility isn’t just about ramps and elevators. It’s about representation, inclusion, and making sure everyone feels seen, heard, and valued. Beauty belongs to everyone, and so does the freedom to live, work, create, and participate fully in our communities.

While we’ve made incredible progress over the past 36 years, our work isn’t finished. We will continue to advocate for a world where accessibility is the standard, not an afterthought, and where every person with a disability can thrive without unnecessary barriers.

Today, we honor the advocates who fought for the ADA, celebrate how far we’ve come, and recommit ourselves to building an even more inclusive future.

Happy 36th Anniversary to the ADA!

💙 Accessibility matters.
💄 Representation matters.
♿ Inclusion matters.

Happy Mother’s Day to the moms who show up every single day — through the chaos, the beauty, the challenges, and the strength it takes to keep moving forward. 💐✨

From makeup to mobility, this journey has taught me that confidence comes in many forms. Some days it’s a bold lipstick, other days it’s simply getting through the day with grace. Whether you’re rolling, walking, resting, caregiving, or rebuilding, your strength deserves to be celebrated. 💕♿

To every mother navigating life with a disability, chronic illness, mobility aid, or invisible battle — you are powerful, beautiful, and seen. Your love leaves a mark no challenge could ever erase.

Today is for the moms who adapt, inspire, protect, and keep going no matter what. 🌷

This is so true! For many people with cerebral palsy myself included we often just want to be seen and heard and valued! I often feel left out of the disability community because my disability is not widely talked about and not widely known and there isn’t a lot of groups for our particular disability, but I’m proud to be who I am and CP is just a part of that 💚#CerebralpalsyAwareness #wheelchairuser #inclusionmatters

💚 Today is National Cerebral Palsy Awareness Day 💚

Today, I’m showing up not just with my makeup—but with my voice.

Living with cerebral palsy is a part of my story, but it does not define my worth, my beauty, or my capabilities. Through Makeup & Mobility, I’ve learned that advocacy can look like many things… sometimes it’s speaking out, and sometimes it’s simply showing up as your authentic self.

For me, makeup is more than glam—it’s empowerment. It’s confidence. It’s a reminder that disability and beauty exist together, unapologetically.

Today, I advocate for:
✨ Inclusion
✨ Accessibility
✨ Representation
✨ And a world that sees us for who we are—not just our diagnoses

If you take anything from today, let it be this:
Disabled voices matter. Disabled beauty matters. I matter. WE matter.

💚 Wear green. Start conversations. Choose inclusion.

💚✨ Developmental Disabilities Awareness Day ✨💚

Today, I’m showing up as my full self — glam, bold, and unapologetically me.

At Makeup & Mobility, I believe beauty is more than what you see on the surface. It’s about confidence, accessibility, and breaking down barriers — in the beauty world and beyond.

Living with and advocating for developmental disabilities means pushing for a world where inclusion isn’t an afterthought — it’s the standard. It means making sure everyone has a seat at the table… and the tools to shine however they choose.

Makeup is my art. Mobility is my reality. Advocacy is my voice.

And today, I’m using all three to remind you:
💄 Disability does not define limits
♿ Accessibility is a right, not a privilege
💚 Inclusion makes us all stronger

Let’s keep creating spaces where everyone feels seen, valued, and beautiful — exactly as they are.

🍀 Happy St. Patrick’s Day from Makeup & Mobility! 🍀

Today, I’m celebrating a little extra luck, a lot of strength, and the beauty of being exactly who I am. 💚

As someone in the disability community, I know that what some people call “luck” is often resilience, advocacy, and showing up every day as my authentic self. And that’s something worth celebrating.

Whether I’m adding a pop of green to my makeup or rolling into the day with confidence, I’m reminding myself (and you) that we are powerful, we are seen, and we deserve to take up space—today and every day.

Here’s to embracing our uniqueness, breaking barriers, and creating our own kind of magic. ✨

💚 Stay bold. Stay beautiful. Stay unstoppable. 💚

Today is International Women’s Day, and I’m celebrating the strength, resilience, and beauty of women everywhere. 💜

As a woman with a disability, I know firsthand that our journeys can look different — but our power is just as real. Through Makeup & Mobility, I use glam as more than just makeup… it’s confidence, self-expression, and a reminder that disability does not define our worth or limit our dreams.

Today, I celebrate women who break barriers, rewrite the narrative, and show up boldly as themselves every single day. Whether you roll, walk, run, or move through the world in your own unique way — your voice matters and your beauty shines.

Here’s to strong women.
May we know them.
May we be them.
May we empower them. 💄♿️

Today, on International Wheelchair Day, I want to celebrate more than just a piece of equipment — I want to celebrate independence, resilience, and the power of accessibility.

A wheelchair is not a limitation. It’s freedom. It’s mobility. It’s possibility.

It represents strength in navigating a world that isn’t always designed with everyone in mind. It represents advocacy, progress, and the ongoing push for inclusion and equal access for all.

Today is about recognizing the achievements, contributions, and voices of wheelchair users everywhere — and continuing to break down barriers, both physical and social.

Let’s keep building a world where accessibility isn’t an afterthought, but a priority.
