Follow along with real-world automotive diagnostics, troubleshooting and repair from an independent repair shop. From electrical problems and no-starts to oscilloscope testing, module diagnostics, programming and some of the unusual problems that make their way into the shop, the focus here is on finding the actual cause of the problem — not just replacing parts.

I've been sharing diagnostic cases and automotive repair on this channel since 2020, documenting both the process and the occasional challenges that come with figuring these vehicles out.

Don't worry, D-Tech Engineering isn't going anywhere! I'll still be bringing you the automotive diagnostics, electronics, and troubleshooting content you've come to expect.

D-Tech After Hours is my creative outlet outside the shop. You'll find automotive projects, technology, cameras, travel, vlogs, and whatever else interests me!

I'm also starting a weekly series called After Hours Walk & Talk, where I'll share shop experiences, everyday thoughts, and conversations about all kinds of topics. Look for those videos on Mondays!

Being from NY, growing up in NY and experiencing this day there in NY...I always keep this day close to my heart, as it was an unthinkable day for all of us to live through.

Crazy to think that it's been 25 years, but for some, it is still fresh in our thoughts as if it were yesterday.

I always keep reminders at the shop because I will always remember and never forget and always support the remembrance of those innocent victims and fallen heroes.

Don't forget to take a moment in your busy day-to-day activities to just stop for a moment and pay respect....

Remember those who were lost - who woke up to a beautiful Tuesday morning like any other, not knowing what was to come.

Testing new diagnostic gear today… 🔬⚡

Putting my new Launch EM101N scope meter up against the ole' trusties—the PicoScope and the Snap-on Vantage Pro—on a parasitic draw test.

We’re pulling ~7.6A to 7.9A on this setup right now. Pretty cool seeing all three scope graphs side-by-side in real time!
