This is the 500 hp Dark Horse. I drove it earlier this year on my own roads and it's the one most people reading this would actually buy.
Next week I drive the 795 hp version, which costs roughly twice as much and swaps the manual for a 7-speed dual clutch.
Most of the questions I've had so far are about the expensive car. This one's about the cheap one.
What would the SC have to do to make you regret buying the 5.0?

More on the Dark Horse SC before I drive it next week. It takes the GT500's slot in the lineup and opens at $108,485 delivered, which is roughly $28,000 more than the GT500 asked in its last year. Inflation covers about half of that.
If you've owned a GT500, a GT350, or a Dark Horse, you know where these cars are good and where they start to wear on you around month four.

Tomorrow, we evaluate the 2027 BMW iX3 50 xDrive. BMW advertises 434 miles of range. That number is only available on 20 inch wheels with the no cost summer tire option. Every other wheel and tire combination lands between 383 and 399.

LC 500 Convertible owners report a gap where the soft top meets the A pillar, bigger on the passenger side. Lexus covered it in service bulletin L-SB-0011-24 for 2022 through 2024 cars and fixes it with a shim. Some owners were told by their dealer it was normal body flex, which the bulletin never says.
Owners: did yours get the shim, or the explanation?
