Helping raw vegan beginners stay consistent with simple meals, structure, and sustainable habits.
No confusion. No overthinking. Just realistic raw vegan guidance that fits real life.

Better Be Raw

My first 7 days on raw vegan were rough.
A lot of enthusiasm. Zero structure. 😅
So my first week ended up being around 60% raw vegan.
Looking back, I definitely learned a few things from those first 7 days.
How was YOUR first week?
What surprised you the most?

Better Be Raw

The word consistency gets thrown around a lot.

And while making my 12th video, I started thinking about where I actually learned what consistency means — long before I became raw vegan.

11 years ago, I started going to the gym.

Today, I have about 10 years of actual experience with it.

You might wonder where that missing year went.

Well… after my first year, I took a break. I wanted to have fun, go to parties, enjoy myself, and not think so much about training.

And eventually I realized something pretty simple:

I couldn't run in two directions at the same time.

I couldn't seriously progress in the gym while living a lifestyle that constantly pulled me in the opposite direction.

It wasn't some quick realization that suddenly changed everything. But little by little, I understood that if I wanted to feel my best, being healthy and fit couldn't just be something I did when it was convenient.

And looking back now, my raw vegan journey was surprisingly similar.

I've happily passed 5 years on raw vegan now. Honestly, it's still a little unbelievable to me.

But the biggest similarity was this:

I had found something that made me feel so much better that quitting simply wasn't the option I wanted.

So I had to figure out how to make it work in real life.

That's actually what today's video is about — and I share a lot more of this thinking there.

And thank you for sticking with my channel this far. I really appreciate it.

Better Be Raw

♥️ I've been thinking about this one lately.

Which one would you consider healthier in the long run? 😏

A — 100% Raw Vegan
Raw fruits, vegetables, etc. — but also lots of dried fruit, raw snacks, raw desserts, and other highly processed raw foods.

B — Mostly Whole-Food Vegan
A mix of raw and cooked fruits, vegetables, legumes, grains, etc. — with a much wider variety of whole foods.

Technically, A is 100% raw.

But does that automatically make it the healthier option?

I'm genuinely curious what you think.

Vote A or B — and tell me why.

Better Be Raw

A few observations from my vacation...

It was a great opportunity to slow down, spend time with my family, and recharge a little.

Watermelons were, of course, a big part of the menu.

My mom kept asking me to make smoothies—probably every second day. A few other people got to try them as well, and it was nice introducing them to simple raw meals.

The funny part? Boiled potatoes kept showing up on the table. I could have eaten them more than once.

Overall, I stayed around 75% raw during the vacation. I wasn't trying to be perfect—I simply wanted to enjoy the time with my family without turning food into a strict set of rules. For me, consistency has never been about perfection. It's about making choices I feel good about over the long run.

I also managed to spend a few days at the beach and catch some much-needed sun.

Now I'm back, refreshed, full of ideas, and excited to keep building this channel.

What about you? Have you had any small raw vegan wins recently?

Better Be Raw

When life gets busy, what's usually the first thing that makes staying raw vegan difficult? I'm genuinely curious because I've been thinking a lot about this while finishing today's video.

Better Be Raw

Have you ever noticed how easy it is to get inspired by raw vegan content... but how difficult it is to actually stay consistent?

Every day we see new recipes, meal plans, and tips, but let me ask you one question: Have they helped you build a raw vegan lifestyle that truly fits your life, or have they mostly given you temporary inspiration?

After nearly five years on this journey, I've realized that the problem usually isn't a lack of information. It's learning how to make raw vegan work with your job, your schedule, your family, and your lifestyle.

If you'd like my help with that, I'm opening a few spots for free coaching calls this week. Just fill out the Google Form below, leave your email, and select "I'd like a free coaching call." I'll personally read your answers and reach out.

Better Be Raw

I noticed many people voted in my poll about struggling to stay consistent with a raw vegan diet, so I'd like to start a conversation.

I'd love to hear from you—what's your biggest challenge right now with raw vegan consistency?

Whether it's staying on track daily, not knowing what to eat, cravings, social situations, or something else entirely, drop your thoughts in the comments.
I'm listening.

Better Be Raw

five years ago, I kept looking for answers in recipes, books, videos, and random pieces of advice.

it took me a while to realize that the answer wasn't where I thought it was.

that's exactly what inspired my newest video.

curious...

what's the biggest thing stopping you from being consistent with raw veganism?

Better Be Raw

Once upon a time, when I took up raw veganism...even funny to recall that flashback now. I agreed to go with my dad to a pizza restaurant. We had a good connection there, but honestly… in terms of my raw journey, it was completely unnecessary. At that point, I’d already been fully raw for several months. Part of me simply wanted to test how I would feel eating cooked food again. And yes... it wasn't welcome, cooked food was badly rejected, haha

Have you ever felt a need to “test” cooked food while being committed to raw vegan?
