The court upheld dismissal of a charge involving private possession of purely virtual AI-generated CSAM where no real child was depicted, because it was bound by existing Supreme Court precedent.

And Judge John Z. Lee HIMSELF warned that AI has changed the fucking equation and the Supreme Court should reconsider those precedents.

HERE’S THE OBVIOUS PROBLEM:

IF AI CAN GENERATE AN IMAGE INDISTINGUISHABLE FROM A REAL CHILD — HOW THE FUCK DO YOU KNOW WHICH CHILD IS AI AND WHICH CHILD IS REAL?
