September honestly felt like a month of growth — professionally, personally, and emotionally. 🤍

There were so many moments that made me pause and think, “Wow, look how far I’ve come.”

From being invited to Assam for a Cardiorespiratory Rehabilitation Workshop as part of the World Physiotherapy Day celebrations, to my first international solo workcation in Malaysia as an International Educator for an ICU Rehabilitation workshop, and then being invited as an esteemed faculty and panelist at the WPAWP Regional Conference — September gave me some truly special professional milestones.

But beyond work, I slowed down too.

More family time. More prayers. More reading. More workouts. Better food. More time with myself.

There were emotional ups and downs, but they also made me pause, reflect, and realise that constantly working isn’t the only way to grow.

September wasn’t just about professional achievements.

It was about discovering parts of myself I didn’t know existed. 🤍

Grateful to Allah, my family, my students, friends, mentors, supporters, and everyone who has been a part of this journey.

Here’s to an even more beautiful October — more opportunities, meaningful work, and growth. ✨

I was invited as a Panelist & Faculty at one of the biggest physiotherapy conferences in the world… and honestly, the stage wasn’t even the most emotional part.

The World Physiotherapy Asia Western Pacific Regional Conference 2026 in New Delhi brought together 10,000+ physiotherapists from 32 countries — and being invited to contribute to such a massive gathering was an absolute honour.

But what happened around those two days is something I will remember for a very long time.

I met the teachers who taught me during my UG years.

I met seniors I have looked up to, incredible peers, and so many young physiotherapists and creators who are building something meaningful in this profession.

And then something happened that I honestly wasn’t prepared for…

People started coming up to me.

Students. Physiotherapists. Young professionals.

Some told me they follow my work.
Some told me they have learned from my content.
Some simply wanted to say hello.

And standing there, surrounded by thousands of physiotherapists, I suddenly realised…

People actually know the work I’ve been doing.

For a moment, I went back to the girl who was once sitting in the classrooms of Jamia Millia Islamia University, learning, dreaming and wondering where this profession would take her.

And then I looked around.

My teachers were there.
My seniors were there.
My peers were there.
The next generation was there.

And somehow, I was there too — as a Panelist & Faculty.

That moment made me realise something:

We are often so busy chasing the next goal that we forget to stop and appreciate how far we’ve already travelled.

So today, I just want to say:

Alhamdulillah. 🤍

For my family.
For my teachers.
For my mentors.
For every opportunity.
For every challenge.
For every person who believed in me.

And for every single person who walked up to me at the conference and made me realise that this journey is touching more lives than I could have imagined.

This wasn’t just a conference for me.
It was a reminder of the journey.

And I’m incredibly grateful for it. 🤍

POV: I was a physiotherapist in the ’80s 🩺📼✨

Before smartphones, apps and wearable technology, physiotherapy was already evolving into a more specialized and evidence-informed profession. The ’80s saw growing recognition of areas such as cardiopulmonary, neurological, orthopaedic, sports and paediatric physical therapy, while hospitals, outpatient clinics and community-based care continued to expand.

1985 was a particularly important year — the first advanced specialist certification examination in Cardiopulmonary Physical Therapy was conducted, marking an important step toward clinical specialization.

The equipment may have looked different, the textbooks were thicker and the computers were definitely bigger 😄 — but the purpose remained the same: assess, treat, rehabilitate and help people move better.

So, if I had been a physio back then… this is probably what you would’ve found me doing. ❤️

Same profession. Different decade. Same passion for movement.
