LIVING RESPECT: WE ARE ONE UNITED "WING CHUN" FAMILY 🇭🇰
Regardless of whether you spell it VingTsun, WingChun, or WingTsun: Anyone who truly loves this system knows that our roots connect us all.Throughout my martial arts journey, there has never been room for association politics, organizational borders, or elitist prejudice. Authentic Wing Chun is cultivated only when we set our egos aside and meet at eye level—driven by genuine respect and honest passion for everyone walking this path with dedication. Our recent days in Hong Kong once again proved what becomes possible when hearts burn for the exact same purpose:

🔹 Visiting the Leung Sheung Association:Together with my MasterClass directors Sifu Taner (Leonberg) and Sifu Wolfgang (Osnabrück), we had the extraordinary honor of being welcomed by Sifu Wei (Chairman of the Leung Sheung Association) and his board of masters. Sifu Wei began training in 1965 directly under Ip Man’s first Hong Kong disciple, Grandmaster Leung Sheung.
As a profound personal honor, the board presented me with a hand-crafted honorary calligraphy scroll: 👉 詠春絕技 (Wing Chun Zyut Gei) – "Wing Chun: Extraordinary Skills / Supreme Artistry"(In the second picture, you can see the deep historical connection: It is the exact same motto displayed on the ancestral banner behind Grandmaster Ip Man himself!)

🔹 Responsibility at the VTAA:As a long-standing certified instructor of the Ving Tsun Athletic Association (VTAA), our annual reunion with Sifu Siu Yuk Men (direct student of Ip Man since 1955) represents living continuity. Unfiltered history, genuine exchange, and biomechanical excellence free from modern political agendas.

🔹 A Shared Origin:From the historic site in Sham Shui Po (Restaurant Workers' Union, 1949) to the gravesites of Grandmaster Ip Man and Grandmaster Wong Shun Leung—we all draw from the exact same foundation.

For dedicated practitioners and school owners with at least 10+ years of active experience, our doors remain wide open. We share our biomechanical principles and research openly, completely independent of lineage or organization.👇 Which lineage or spelling do you practice, and what does respecting the original roots mean to you? Share your thoughts in the comments below!

🇭🇰MASTERCLASS HONG KONG 2026 ● DAY 3: NAN LIAN GARDEN | WONG SHUN LEUNG’S GRAVE & THE VTAA
Today, we visited the Nan Lian Garden. Nestled between towering skyscrapers and urban hustle, it offers an extraordinary sense of tranquility. It is maintained with flawless perfection, where virtually every single blade of grass and bonsai has its exact place. The traditional timber architecture is breathtaking, and even at 33°C, this peaceful sanctuary was well worth the visit.

AT THE GRAVE OF WONG SHUN LEUNG
Afterward, we visited the grave of Wong Shun Leung, a moment that left us deeply reflective. Originally coming from a Western boxing background, he went on to dominate the legendary bare-knuckle rooftop matches in Hong Kong and, alongside only a handful of others, played an instrumental role in establishing Ving Tsun as a science. His philosophy was never to mystify Ving Tsun, but to rigorously test its principles against honest, applied physics.

THE VTAA: BORN OUT OF CRISIS
Next, we visited the VTAA headquarters. Yip Man deliberately chose not to name an individual successor. Driven by his terminal illness and the violent 1967 riots, when Hong Kong plunged into turmoil amid labor strikes and states of emergency he founded the VTAA (Ving Tsun Athletic Association) as his sole official organization. The letter “V” was chosen deliberately for “Victory.” In practice, however, debates over spelling with a “V”, “W”, or any other variation are entirely secondary to us. Letters do not matter; the only thing that counts is adherence to original principles and verifiable biomechanics.

🙏A HEARTFELT THANK YOU TO ALL PARTICIPANTS
A huge thank you to all of this year’s participants for your great energy and appreciation. Even though we are following a demanding, tightly packed schedule every single day, the enthusiasm, fun, and team spirit are incredible. I am truly grateful to be able to make this experience possible for all of you in such a smooth and direct way!

🇭🇰HONG KONG 2026 ● ANNUAL MASTERCLASS TRIP

● THE RESTAURANT WORKERS' UNION
Far from any myth, it was pure survival: In 1949, Yip Man fled penniless to Hong Kong. At the Restaurant Workers' Union in Sham Shui Po, he taught waiters and laborers to defend against street gangs—simply for food and shelter.

● THE GRAVE IN FANLING
At his grave in Fanling, the tragedy hits home: Yip Man never witnessed the global hype around his system. He lived in bitter poverty and passed away just as life became somewhat stable. A profound lesson, especially for us today!

● TRAINING IN KOWLOON PARK
To wrap up the day, we hit the training ground in Kowloon Park for intense drills and video shoots. Pure focus, authentic sweat, and the direct application of original principles right in the heart of Hong Kong.

HONG KONG 🇭🇰 EXPERIENCING THE ROOTS
The countdown is on: heading back to Hong Kong the day after tomorrow! I have been traveling here every year for many years. I specifically offer this journey to my international Masterclass members to save them years of tedious research and grant them direct access to the source.

● Historic Locations: The places where Grandmaster Yip Man first taught publicly, along with his grave.

● Hidden Wing Chun Spots: Authentic landmarks off the beaten track where martial arts history was made.

● Direct Eyewitnesses: Personal exchange with the last living students of Yip Man who spent over 20 years closely by his side.

● Unfiltered Insights: What was training in Foshan really like? Myth of Snake & Crane? What were Yip Man's private thoughts compared to his public political statements? And who actually stepped into the ring during the brutal bare-knuckle fights (Beimo)?
Thanks to decades of personal connections and deep mutual trust, we gain genuine insights without any filter.

❗️RESERVATIONS FOR 2027
The 2026 trip was already fully booked six months in advance. The first inquiries for 2027 are already coming in. If you want to join, make sure to get in touch early, as spots are strictly limited.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR FEEDBACK ❗️THE SOLUTION IS BAU JA LIK (爆炸力)

First of all, a massive thank you for the incredible, positive feedback on my recent videos! I am thrilled that the content resonates so well with you. In the messages one specific question keeps coming up:
"How do you manage to be so extremely fast and explosive❓️"

The Ving Tsun principle that describes exactly this phenomenon is called Bau Ja Lik (爆炸力 explosive power). The fact that hardly anyone knows this term anymore is not a problem. There are very very few left who are even able to describe and apply this principle correctly. If you break it down physically, there is a precise instruction for it. Here are the three decisive factors to generate Bau Ja Lik:

🔴 Body mechanics instead of brute force: Explosiveness does not originate in the arm alone, but through the perfect cooperation of all joints. It is the efficient and physically provable transfer of power from your own base, through the body structure, straight into the exact point of impact.

🔴 Leaving out the unnecessary: Those who stay true to the original principles always choose the most direct path. Winding up, telegraphing, or any superfluous movement costs valuable milliseconds. Absolute mechanical efficiency is the key to speed.

🔴 The alternation of relaxation and structure: Permanent muscular tension makes you slow. The explosive whip-effect arises from complete looseness in the movement, which, in the exact fraction of a second of impact, switches into a massive, unshakable structure.

It is fundamentally important to train these things every day. But training alone is not enough. You can train nonsense every day for 30 years. You have to know exactly what you are doing to achieve real results. For those who deeply understand this principle of biomechanics and train it precisely, explosiveness and speed become an inevitable result.

Thanks again for the strong support🙏🙏🙏

Hongkong: 26. Sept. – 03. Okt.
Graz: 10. Okt.
Zypern: 17. Okt.
Stuttgart: 24. Okt.
Osnabrück: 31. Okt.
Int. WinterCamp Leonberg: 04. – 06. Dez.
