A message from our friends at the Jewish Federation of Winnipeg
Our hearts are shattered as we continue to watch the news and see casualties mounting, and our brothers and sisters in Israel in the midst of war.
Now, more than ever, it is critical that we come together and publicly display our love and support of Israel and the people who live there.
Join us on Tuesday at 7:00 pm inside the gym at the Asper Jewish Community Campus (123 Doncaster Street) for a solidarity gathering with Israel. Full security protocols will be enacted to ensure the safety of all rally participants.
We will pray for, and honour, the memory of more than 700 Israelis who have been tragically murdered, pray for peace, and the safe return of those who have been kidnapped.
In the coming days, we will announce how you can support victims of terror, help rebuild damaged infrastructure, and help address the immense levels of trauma caused by this horrific attack.
The Jewish Federation of Winnipeg stands shoulder to shoulder with Israel as we pray for our families, and friends, and for the safety of Israel.
