Assalamualaikum, guys! ❤️

As you know, I recently heard about something that made me think deeply, and today I want to share something with every girl and boy whose parents don't know about their editing channel or passion.

Guys, I know how it feels to hide something you genuinely love because you're afraid of your parents' reaction. I was in the same situation. I used to hide my editing channel, too, but now I've realised that sometimes, it's better to explain our passion to our parents instead of letting them discover it accidentally. 🥹🤍

Imagine working hard on your channel for months or even years, achieving your dreams, and then your parents finding out unexpectedly. It could create misunderstandings that might have been avoided through an honest conversation.

I'm NOT saying that you're wrong for hiding your channel. I understand why some of you do it. Sometimes, you're scared, sometimes you don't know how to explain yourself, and sometimes you're worried about losing something you love. I understand you because I've been there, too. 🫂❤️‍🩹

But if it's safe for you to talk to your parents, try explaining your passion calmly. You can tell them, "I genuinely love editing, and it's something that makes me happy. Can I continue doing it alongside my studies?"

First, make sure you're taking your studies seriously and completing your responsibilities. Show them that you can manage your academics while enjoying your hobby. Tell them how long you've been editing, how much effort you've put into it, and why it matters to you.

As you know, my parents took my mobile away, and I had to face a difficult situation, too. I've just completed my exams, and although my result hasn't arrived yet, I know how hard I've worked. I hope that, through my efforts, my parents will understand me better.

I'm not telling you to go against your parents or disrespect their decisions. I know that many parents want the best for their children. Sometimes, they just need to understand our feelings and the things we're passionate about. ❤️

And guys, if your parents are very strict or you're worried that telling them could put you in a difficult situation, please don't rush. Think about a safe way to talk to them, or ask a trusted adult to help you explain your feelings.

Your passion matters, but so do your education, your safety, and your peace of mind. Never feel ashamed of something you love, and never think you're alone in this. 🫶🏻✨

Now, I genuinely want to know your opinions.
