Home office vibes | Is coding still worth learning in 2026? ⬇️

Everyone keeps asking me this.

AI writes code now. Agents open pull requests. Your cousin built an app over the weekend without knowing what a variable is.

So is it over?

No. But the job changed.

Typing code was never the hard part. Knowing what to build, why it breaks, and whether the thing the AI just wrote is quietly wrong. That's the job now. And it's harder to fake than ever.

The people struggling in 2026 aren't the ones who can't prompt. They're the ones who never learned the fundamentals and can't tell good code from confident code.

The people winning? They understand systems, they ship fast, and they use AI like a very fast junior dev who needs supervision.

So yes. Learn to code. Just don't learn it the way people did in 2019.

Learn to think like an engineer. The tools will keep changing. That part won't.

Feels good to be back in the studio 👨🏻‍💻🪄

It’s been a long couple of weeks as I travelled to Berlin and back for IFA. Met with some awesome creators and brands out there!

And now I’m back in the office refreshed and ready to go!

Some people meditate. I sit in a dark room with two ultrawides stacked on top of each other and call it productivity.

I made a few changes 👀

So I’ve had a couple new monitors in and I just had to bring back the OG stacked setup.

Some people think it’s too much but personally, running a 49” with a stacked monitor on top just makes sense! In this case I’m running a new 49” QD-OLED by ‪@InnocnOfficial‬ (49Q1R) as my main monitor (review coming soon on YT btw) and up top I’m running a 27” ​‪@asusrog‬ QD-OLED monitor (XG27AQDMES).

As you can tell I’ve upgraded to OLED and the difference between IPS and OLED is insane! I see what the hype is about. Black is BLACK now!

For coding it’s awesome since most of the time I spend it in dark mode so having that rich black contrast actually makes a huge difference.
