RESIDENT EVIL 2 ARCADE Gameplay Details & Screenshots.

Bandai Namco and Capcom have officially announced that BIOHAZARD RE:2 Arcade (RESIDENT EVIL 2 Remake Arcade) machines are scheduled to launch at arcade centers in Japan and Western countries in Spring 2027.

BIOHAZARD RE:2 ARCADE is an upcoming arcade shooter based on the Resident Evil 2 Remake. Players will step inside a specialized cabinet and use gun controllers to fight zombies in Raccoon City as Leon or Claire. The game supports both single-player and co-op modes. To make the experience more immersive, the arcade machine includes physical effects, such as sudden air blasts and floor vibrations.

In recent presentations, Bandai Namco and Capcom showcased additional details about the arcade game:

Game Modes:
- Story Mode: Provides infinite ammunition so players can focus on the story.
- Tactical Mode: Designed for advanced players, this mode increases the difficulty by strictly limiting your ammunition.

Episode Selection:
The game is divided into multiple chapters, with up to Episode 4 shown during the presentation:
- Episode 1: Prologue (序章)
- Episode 2: Pursuer (追跡者)
- Episode 3: City Streets (市街)
- Episode 4: Sewers (下水道)

Enemies (B.O.W.s):
In addition to regular zombies, players will also fight major "boss" enemies, such as the Licker, the sewer Alligator, G (Stage 2), and the Tyrant.

The arcade machine includes exciting physical effects, such as sudden air blasts and floor vibrations, to make the experience more realistic.

The official release date and pricing have not yet been announced.

Currently running at Shibuya BEAM from October 30 to December 24, 2026, this exhibition celebrates three decades of the iconic survival horror franchise across several thematic zones.

Trace 30 years of history, and follow the ever-expanding path of fear and infection that has shaped the series.

○ FILE 2: THE WORLD OF RESIDENT EVIL THEATER
An opening theater experience that introduces you to the world of the Resident Evil series.
