A few things -

In order to find the results I was getting, you need to use an incognito or private browser window before you search for China. This represents unbiased results that are not catered to you by Google and the feed it makes for it's users.

Many of the videos he showed ARE Chinese state propaganda, and I suspect he doesn't have much experience identifying it. I understand that.

YouTube isn't trying to appeal to a Chinese audience. YouTube is fully blocked in China. YouTube appears to be pumping out pro CCP content, and limiting the exposure of anti CCP content.

One of my subscribers reached out with his results for example -

If you search for "China" in youtube you, from first 100 videos you get:
-54 clear propaganda videos (anti USA, anti UK, showing of technologies, showing of tourism and cities, pro DeepSeek, luxury cars, beautiful places)
-12 neutral ancient historical videos
-7 flattering chinese food reviews (potential soft power)
-2 videos from Winston BUT ONLY those with anti-USA titles: "Rednote is Showing Americans how much Better China is" and"China's Robots have Shocked the world! - America Lost! "
-1 Sky News video
-1 Business Basics video
-1 "China's Ghost Cities: The Truth Behind The Empty Megacities"
-1 China's Economy Is Still Behind The USA | Victor Davis Hanson
-3 unrelated videos (music video, 2 about old cars)

So in summary, out of 97 videos there are 2 from serpentza (but with "pro-china, anti-USA" titles) + a link to china uncensored, 4 neutral ones, 12 about history - the rest is pro-CCP.

YouTube is ABSOLUTELY up to something. This new video I made on DeepSeek has a HUGE click through rate, a MASSIVE amount comments, and a TON of thumbs up, yet YouTube is telling me that "fewer people are choosing to watch this video".

It's my worst performing video OF ALL TIME on a relevant topic, on a channel with over 1 MILLION subscribers.


MORE PEOPLE ARE CLICKING THIS VIDEO, and YouTube is saying fewer people are.

Videos from channels praising DeepSeek, and praising China are absolutely blowing up right now.
Weirdly, YouTube has been killing my channel off since the election. Any ideas?
