I recently passed 500,000 views on my channel. I know it may not mean much to a lot of channels, but to me, this is a huge accomplishment. I've said this a bunch over my time on YouTube, but I can't thank you guys enough for all the support. I know 5,000 subs is just around the corner.

It's hard to believe that it's been 25 years since the September 11th attacks occurred. This was the "water-shed" moment for my generation. While older kids & adults had the Columbia disaster, Watergate, or the JFK assassination, I had 9/11.

I can still remember being in math class, 2nd period, and my teacher telling all of us the news. The old CRT TV carts got wheeled in to every classroom, and my math class watched just as the 2nd plane hit the South Tower. I spent the rest of the day watching the events unfold in every period, no matter what the class normally was.

My mom took us out of school early, for fear that an attack in downtown Chicago would lock up the schools. When I got home, I looked up and for the first time in my life, I realized the sky was completely empty. No planes. No news helicopters. Nothing. It was surreal.

I'll always hold a special place for the lives lost that day & all the first responders who rushed to try and save as many people as they could. It's a day, and a moment, that I'll never forget.

I hit a bit of a snag with the C3X 1080 I bought, the bulb was busted, so I'm waiting on a new lamp. For right now, I decided I'm going to keep the 720p C3X up for a while longer.

I'm heading out of town today for a big family weekend. Not only is it my parents 45th Anniversary, but also, my youngest sister is getting married. So there's a lot going on.

I'll be back sometime next week, but I do have a few videos scheduled to drop while I'm gone, so there shouldn't be a large gap in uploads.
