I upload obscure 80s cassettes from China, with music that otherwise is hard to find.
I find sometimes it's uploaded but in poor quality, so here it is in the best quality I can give!
NOTE: I do not own majority of content uploaded to this channel, I only upload them as they have otherwise proved rather hard to find :0
I also do not monetise any videos here for this reason. If you see any ads for any video, then it's been added by YouTube for themselves and/or composers of the music.
Please contact me if you would like to remove any of these videos!
As many of my uploads are lossy or from inferior sources, I've been uploading the tracks as flacs on my Archive.org page:

87‘狂热, or 87'Fever is a synthpop album that was immensely popular within China.
It was inspired by the 荷东 (Hollywood East Star Trax) and 猛士 (Master Mix) series, which were both compilation albums within China that consisted of western (mainly eurodisco) songs.
From 1987 to 1989, it was one of the top three best selling cassettes, and is widely considered iconic within China, helping develop the Chinese pop/dance music scene (which had only started in the early 80s following the cultural revolution).
The lyrics are very much a reflection of this time period within China, even when the main theme is of love, as an undertone throughout the whole series.

I'm curious, from the cover picture of this cassette, can someone identify who the anime character is?
I've wondered since I posted this cassette but wasn't sure

Just a note to why I uploaded the most recent video twice, the original upload had an issue (the video was cut short unintentionally). I deleted the old video and reuploaded it as a result.

Sadly some have sound-quality issues, but the music is still very enjoyable :DDD

So apparently I have community posts available now,
So here's a question, would people prefer that I make future videos with visualisations, or have a static picture?
