What I read in August✨📚
August was basically the Jahquel J. show because I was DEVOURING her books. 😂
The books go by so fast that I hit my library’s 5-borrow limit by like August 5th. 😭 So I switched to Kindle Unlimited and kept going! (I’m on Quasim II now)
The other book I read was Yesteryear… and honestly? I don’t see the hype 🥴
Would not recommend. ❤️

A few weeks ago, I asked y’all what you wanted to see more of on this channel, and a few of you specifically mentioned beginner-friendly crochet content, tips, tricks, and projects you could make along with me.
So I decided to edit this tutorial that I had in the archives. I filmed this a year ago & didn’t love it but I rewatched the footage and thought I could salvage it, so that’s what I did!
I just dropped a tutorial for this crochet mesh bag! It is seriously one of my favorite crochet items & I wear it alll the time.
I’ll be honest, tutorials are something I’ve been a little hesitant to make. But I want to put this out because this is the tutorial I was looking for when I first saw this bag on Pinterest (couldn’t find one so I figured it out)

Okay, first of all… HI to all the new subscribers!! 💕
I’m going to be honest… I’m in a little bit of a “okayyyy so what are we doing next?” phase 😂
I'm still recouping from the L's I've been taking with crochet so I've been working on MUCH smaller projects and don't have quite enough for a video yet. So, while I obviously get to decide what I post on my own channel, I’m really curious about what YOU might want to see from me.

What would you like to see more of? Is there something from a video that brought you here that made you think, “I like this girl” or even “it’s nice to see someone like me doing this”? and if you have an answer for that, what would you want to see more of?
It can be crochet, fashion, books, travel, lifestyle… whatever!
I want to be intentional about growing this channel and building a community that actually feels like us, so I’d love to hear what y’all are thinking. 💕
