We’ve arrived at the Colosseum in Rome, and what an incredible sight it is! 😍🏛️
The area was also being protected by the Italian military, with military vehicles and army personnel nearby. It certainly made for a memorable arrival at one of Rome’s most famous landmarks.
Standing here and taking in the history of the Colosseum really brings home just how much there is to see in Rome. 📸🇮🇹
We’re making the most of every minute of our Marella Cruises excursion — although we still don’t think we’ll have enough time to see everything!

There is just so much to see and take in that we already know we’re not going to have enough time! 🏛️📸 Everywhere we look there’s another incredible building, monument or piece of history.
You could spend days exploring Rome and still only scratch the surface. We’re trying to see as much as we can during our Marella Cruises excursion, but there simply aren’t enough hours in the day! 😂
