😅 Well… YouTube decided to cut the last 5 seconds of my latest video, which means you never actually got to see the FINAL PHOTO!

So here it is (tap on it to see the whole picture)👇📸

If you watched the video, this is the shot that was supposed to close it.

What do you think...worth waiting for? 😄

And if you haven’t watched the video yet, go check it out and let me know which shot was your favourite!

📸 NEW VIDEO: The MAGIC of 50mm Street Photography in London

This time I wanted to do something a little different from a standard POV street photography video.

For some of my favourite shots from the session, I’ve added a Photography Breakdown showing exactly what I saw and why I took the photograph: the light, focus, composition, layering and the decisions behind the final frame.

I think seeing the finished photo is interesting, but understanding why the photographer stopped and pressed the shutter can be much more useful.

So if you’re learning street photography, or just curious about how I approach a scene, hopefully there are a few ideas in this one that you can take into your own photography.

And yes… the more I use the 50mm, the more I think it might be becoming my favourite focal length. 😅

🎥 The MAGIC of 50mm Street Photography in London is now on PhotoRox.

Let me know what you think of the breakdowns. Should I keep them in future videos? 👇

I had a very sensible plan for my summer holiday:
one camera, two lenses.

Somehow that became three cameras, four lenses, a drone, an action camera, a Pocket 3, lighting gear… and around 15KG of photography equipment. 😅

Six weeks later, I realised something slightly painful: most of it could have stayed at home.

The new video is live! 🎥. https://youtu.be/xgCRtMEtYw0

And I’m curious...when you travel, are you Team “just in case” or Team “one camera and go”?

I was asked about the Sony 35 1.4 GM. So I decided to post some of my best shots (tap on them to see the full image).
Leave me a comment if you would like to have my personal review of this fantastic lens 😍
