One of the things I tried to do with this guitar was add in all the little specs that I've come to love over the years such as...

-a Graphtec nut for upgrade tuning stability
-a 4 way pickup selector which creates an additional position where both pickups are in a big fat juicy series position
-a Seymour Duncan silencer P-90 in the bridge for the P-90 sound without the hum that often comes with these pickups
-a body contour and neck pocket for maximum comfort and stability

After launching this guitar company last year I wanted to keep the momentum going and get out the next guitar drop asap. But the world had other plans. With some strange times in geopolitical affairs (which turns out affects the ability to make guitars) it took a year to the date to get this out. But it's here. It's the guitar I always wish existed and now it does. Get yours while quantities last!

It makes me so happy to say THE OTERA TK-1 RED WILL BE AVAILABLE SEPTEMBER 14, 2026

Man, what a whirlwind it's been with this endeavor. I put out the first guitar about a year ago and I never would have anticipated the response it got. I was hoping it would sell out in 6 months, It sold out in 5 days. The support and reception for this is something that will always stay with me.

With the concept proven I put in the order for the next batch of guitars this time in red, hoping we could get these out within a few months. But weird things happen....weird things have been happening for like 10 years now... Global affairs on one side of the globe effect shipping on the other, tariffs push production to places with preferred rates which causes delays. There were a bunch of things like this that a career of making Youtube videos in my basement did not prepare me for!
(samuraiinternationalbusinessaffairscoordinator doesn't have the same ring as samuraiguitarist).

But we figured it out and September 14, 2026 these guitars will be available in a limited quantity to the US and Canada. When they are gone they are gone, get this guitar while you can. Stay tuned (or join the waitlist to get first dibs oteraguitars.com/pages/waitlist)
