I found something to last night, alcohol free cocktails with a shot of Gin because I wanted to - the Bar staff were shocked - apparently no one has ever ordered an alcohol free cocktail and put alcohol in it. It was DELICIOUS

Many often arrive at witchcraft looking for answers, but then end up staying because it changes the way they look for answers.

I first started fully practicing witchcraft because I did a few spells for physical objects (new car, money etc) all of which worked out well and I thought I had tapped the secret, but now, I just want pretty flowers growing in my garden and my pet Crow to get big and strong.

But some of the customs our ancestors practised around the Summer Solstice were a little more... unexpected. 😳

I've been researching my Litha video recently and one thing that I keep coming back to is how ordinary the festival celebrations were.

When we think of witches today we often imagine powerful practitioners with secret knowledge, but so much of what survives in the historical record is rooted in everyday concerns: protecting livestock, healing illness, finding lost objects, predicting the weather, or cleansing negativity. I love this as it completely resonates with my type of witchcraft - less dramatic but somehow so much more interesting.
