thinking about upcoming videos and would love your input! ◖⚆ᴥ⚆◗

i've just posted a huge video about how i run my art business as an overview, but i would love to do a more in depth yet shorter video for some of the facets of that video - like how i run a mail club, but i show the whole design + production process (like actually drawing, idea generating + using my sticker machine + software). how i run an online shop following the same theme, etc.

i was thinking of doing these lil tutorial videos in between vlogs - the current vlog i would like to work on is preparing for my first market, and then I'll see what the theme is as we go. i would love to post every two weeks as i think long form youtube time is perfect for the cosy season ☁️

a common request is about finding your art style - which i could certainly dedicate a whole video to, but at the same time my viewpoint might not be pleasing to some (i.e think focusing on it too much can make your art worse if you're early in your journey, but there are certainly concrete steps I think you can take to find it).

i really really love making videos and i wish i had more time to dedicate to it! please let me know if there is anything else you'd like me to cover. 🫶

i made a free newsletter about creative mindset!!! <3

tinyurl.com/2uadp9fn

i usually have a paywall on all of my patreon posts, but i realised it might be valuable to actually give people a little taster of the kind of things we have over on there :~) i hope you enjoy it.

even the digi tier really allows me so much more time to create long-form content and space to focus on making art rather than just running my socials and churning out reels, thank you so much to my lovely patrons. thank you for giving me a safety net 🎐

my first ever pack of procreate brushes! silly but versatile. feel free to tag me if you use them as i would love to see it
( ͡°ᴥ ͡° ʋ)

available here: tr.ee/di4-hs9uHR

𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗿𝘂𝘀𝗵𝗲𝘀
- fuzziest liner
- neo crayon liner
- finest liner
- silliest liner

𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗿𝘂𝘀𝗵𝗲𝘀
- felt tip
- bud's gansai
- cheap crayon

𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀
- half tone
- big grain
- old paper

𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼
- all colouring brushes are set to vary the hue of strokes by 3/4%, this means there will be a slight change in colour as you use them. you can click on the brush and change this setting if you'd like, but i always have it on because i think it looks cool and more "real"
- i would recommend adding half tone in a dark colour that matches your palette, then setting to a linear burn or colour burn layer
- you can add old paper and/or big grain on top of your finished piece, set to multiply and find the right opacity for your liking

big update coming this week 🌈

i hope you like my new stickers!!! much love to you all, I'll try to get a video out soon, i've been struggling with burnout so i don't want to push it too hard alongside my shop update and my mail club !

patrons have early access to this update tomorrow afternoon (yayyy ty!)

reminder: i cannot currently ship to the EU (except mail club rewards) but this is a stretch goal for my business as things pick up and not something that i will ignore long term, just can't afford it at this current stage, always thinking of y'all and working towards it ❤️

love always!

this month is all about slowing downnnn and taking everything around u in!!!

i feel like i got a bit lost with my creative identity recently (running a mail club sometimes makes me feel like i need to do more trendy work!) and i felt like i found my way home with this month's rewards ^-⩊-^

available as a one-off on my website or, as always, on my pætreon (where the digi rewards are exclusive)!

thank you all so much for your support the past month on my fishy mail 𓆝 𓆟 𓆞
