Velvet Static Films — queer-led vampire noir, post-apocalyptic sci-fi, and supernatural romance, told one frame at a time. Welcome to the static.
A one-person studio building character-driven worlds where mortality is optional and the shadows always win. Photoreal, neon-soaked, and unafraid to go where the light doesn't.
Now showing:
🩸 All the Beautiful Prey — A vampire who kneels to no one, a Manhattan nightclub built on secrets, and a war brewing under the city's streets.
🛰️ Widowmaker (Coming Soon) — One survivor, a dead world, and the AI watching from orbit who may be the only thing keeping them alive.
🌧️ Hay, Turpentine & Rain (Coming Soon) — A man who has been twenty-one for five hundred years, torn between four lifetimes and four loves.
New episodes bi-weekly. If you're here for supernatural noir, slow-burn sci-fi, and queer love stories with teeth — subscribe and ring the bell.

I don’t usually post messages like this, but this one’s worth it.
I love stories that get complicated. If you’ve only been watching All The Beautiful Prey, here’s something you should know: tomorrow’s season finale of Hay, Turpentine & Rain ties the two shows together. And it doesn’t just connect them. ATBP has been tangled up in HTR all along, and nobody noticed.
Tomorrow’s episode will make that clearer, and it’ll leave my ATBP faithful with a whole new set of questions.
The finale teaser just dropped. If you haven’t watched HTR yet, there’s still time to catch up before tomorrow afternoon. Enjoy!
