at home now feeling overwhelmed by the intensity of the american tour. i’ve been doing this a while now and that run stands far and away the most beautiful touring experience of my life. the band came together to do what we do when we needed each other most. you all showed up and gave us everything for those hours every night. i’m reliving it constantly. i’m taking it with me everywhere i go. cannot overstate how proud the band and i are of what our community has become.
nine more days until the live show recommences in milan. blu and bike routes coming with us this time... gonna be feral.
‘music is funny, because you experience it alone and you experience it with other people. songs can have a great loneliness and a great community in them at the same time, and i’ve always been interested in the farthest sides of that spectrum… it’s inherently a cure for the lonely’
these weeks of touring have been monumental for the band and i. all of you have shown up to these shows with everything you have, and we are honored to share these nights with you.
