Entertaining & informative videos about the life and journeys of Roy & Karen Cooper.
We met on Prodigy [online] in 1991, met in person in 1992, started dating in 1993, got married in 1995, got divorced in 2012 and we were re-married in 2016. Our story is inspirational and a testimony to God and how he transforms people.
This channel is also about making dreams happen. As a Los Angeles couple keeping up with the Joneses, we were in debt and had no money set aside for retirement. Then we took Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University class - and followed it with "Gazelle Intensity" - from becoming debt free all the way to now being mortgage free too. Now we are working on building our nest egg.
With the crazy real estate market in the Austin, Texas area we were able to cash out and buy our new home in The Villages, Florida. Though we are still working, we are working our way to retirement.
In early 2023 we bought an RV [2020 BT Cruiser 5240] to help us with our wanderlust.
Roy & Karen: To Retirement and Beyond
We are so blessed by all the comments on Facebook and YouTube by people helped by our last video. People are putting down peat moss, asking further questions, sending the info to their friends and everyone so happy to know what was causing their grass to die.
It's gonna be great next summer when we see all those lush green lawns! 😄

We are in the midst of writing out the outline for our 3rd Year Anniversary video and it's so clear to us how much we appreciate all of you.
We love meeting you "in the wild" and hearing the stories of your journey to The Villages. Sometimes you are here on a Lifestyle Preview Visit or you just closed on your new home.
Whatever it is please feel free to stop us and let us share in the joy with you.
God bless all of you.
