Don't lose your soul while trying to chase investments.
It doesn't mean you shouldn't invest.
I'm saying, don't lose your soul.
Put God first in all your ways, and He will establish your path.
That's it for today.
Besides that, keep enjoying your life and be kind.

Would you give money to a stranger, even in a small way, to meet a specific need if they're genuinely struggling financially (e.g. no savings, no job, domestic abuse, etc.), if you could do so anonymously? 🤔

Every time we meet new people, we're always asked questions about marriage or relationships. For those interested, we'd love to do a Q&A video. Comment below with your questions 😊
You can ask a question whether you're single or in a relationship.
The choice of partner plays a critical role in one's finances, wealth-building, or life in general (e.g. love life, health, care, ambition, raising children, peace, etc.).
So we believe this is a very important conversation.
Having been happily married for 15 years so far, we have a lot to share. Ups and downs.
We look forward to reading your questions. Invite others to comment with questions, and we'll collate them and make a video responding.
Love from us, and Happy Friday,
Ken and Mary ❤️

A massive thank you to the London Stock Exchange @LSEGplc for inviting us to deliver a Financial Literacy workshop to young adults from across the country 😀❤️.
They also supported the young adults with 100 signed copies of our new book, The Wealth Habit.
Financial Literacy isn't something we all grew up with, so to see the London Stock Exchange doing something about it for 15- to 18-year-olds is powerful!
And they didn't stop there...
The 2-day Finance Summer Work Experience event covered sessions on wealth building, AI, Entrepreneurship, Skills for Success, Investing and Pensions, Networking, Career Planning and much more!
Attendees even experienced a real Market Close event, seeing behind the scenes of the stock exchange.
Getting involved has definitely made our year. Our sons even came along to learn from the various sessions.
Seeing copies of our book in the hands of the next generation was beautiful. They're starting well.
Judging by the top quality of questions and enthusiasm from these young people, I'm confident that their futures will be bright!
We loved meeting them all.
HUGE thanks to the incredible team at The London Stock Exchange Rudo M, Bola Ogun, John Leavey, Lily Sheaf, Katherine Gansallo and many others for making this so special 👏🏽👏🏽

Today is a very special day. Please join Mary and I in celebrating our 15-year wedding anniversary 🥳❤️❤️
Getting married to Mary is hands down the best decision I've ever made in my life.
We were barely 28 years old when we got married, so imagining 15 years into the future felt like an eternity.
So much has changed around us in 15 years.
We've faced trials and tribulations in these years.
But love has remained and continues to flourish.
I'm reminded of this scripture:
"God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them."
God has blessed us abundantly in this time together.
We've raised wonderful children.
Experienced career changes and navigated them well.
Had immeasurable impact together.
Grown stronger in love.
And so much more!
This pic is a throwback to how our journey began in 2011.
May we continue to live, love, laugh and be surrounded by people who truly care 😊
Love to everyone who has supported us all these years ❤️❤️

This email is a reminder that even when we don't expect it or deserve it, God is always at work.
We received this email saying Hachette has agreed to supply 50 copies of our book, The Wealth Habit, to support an important initiative.
That initiative is "My Brother's Keeper Alliance" (MBK), set up to address persistent opportunity gaps faced by boys and young men of color.
Reading it warmed my heart because it's such an important initiative.
But then, I felt the nudge to look up the initiative further, and it turned out it was set up by Barack Obama. Wow!
I just smiled and took a moment to say a prayer.
We didn't see that one coming.
We all have our plans, but God has bigger plans.
Who knows where this might go, but wherever it does, we're thankful 🙏🏽

Greetings from Nigeria 🇳🇬 . This is a historic trip for our family. Our children haven't been since they were babies.
This year, we decided to do our family holiday in Nigeria to see it, feel it, and explore it for ourselves 😊.
Many people told us:
"Nigeria is not a place you go to for holiday."
"What if you get kidnapped? Don't go there."
"Nigeria is worse than Afghanistan," etc.
Thank God we didn't listen.
We've felt very secure here and having the time of our lives.
In fact, our second son said, "This is the top 3 of all our holidays."
Our other son said, "I love the chaos."
Bear in mind that we've visited various towns so far, visited local markets, driven across states, flown internally to another state, etc. So they've seen the country 😀.
The cultural experiences, music, diverse food (Jollof, Abula, Suya, Yam and Plantain, Akara, etc), languages, people, art, and the "gra gra" of Nigeria have been priceless for our children and us.
I even took them to my old secondary school and old home so they could see where I began life.
These are memories for life.
There is so much to see and explore in Nigeria. It's not perfect, but it's great.
I hope this encourages you to visit Nigeria 🇳🇬, no matter where you're from.
Of course, be street smart, do your research, etc.
But don't let the negative things you hear from the news, social media, or others stop you. See it for yourself.
When we talk about living a life of Financial Joy, this is exactly what we mean.
Experience life your way without being bound by the fears of others ☺️.
Here are some pics from our first state: Lagos.

We're living longer. But we're not living healthily for longer.
The latest ONS figures are worth paying attention to.
A man in the UK can now expect around 79 years of life, but only 60.7 of them in good health.
For women, it's roughly 83 years of life and 60.9 years in good health.
Sadly, in the last week alone, two men I know in their early 60s have had to stop working because of poor health.
Healthy life expectancy for both men and women is now at its lowest level since the ONS series began in 2011 to 2013.
Now hold that next to the state pension.
It's rising to 67 by 2028. Then 68 between 2044 and 2046.
Read those two facts together, and you land somewhere uncomfortable:
For many people, poorer health may arrive years before the State Pension does.
We're being asked to work to 67 or 68 for a retirement we may be too unwell to fully enjoy.
These are averages measured from birth, so any one person's odds could be better or worse.
But as a national picture, it's a warning worth acting on.
So what do you do with it? Here are 5 things I'd focus on:
1. STOP PLANNING FOR TRADITIONAL "RETIREMENT"
Start planning for freedom while you're still well.
The goal was never an age; it's the point where work becomes optional.
2. BUILD A POT YOU CAN ACTUALLY REACH
You can't touch a private pension until 55 (57 from 2028), or the state pension until 67.
So you need accessible investments (e.g. ISAs) to bridge the years in between.
3. PROTECT THE ROOF OVER YOUR HEAD
A mortgage or rent doesn't care how you're feeling; it lands every month regardless.
If poor health makes work harder to do, or harder to come by, the essentials still have to be paid.
So build a proper emergency fund, look seriously at income protection, and chip away at your housing costs over time.
Being mortgage-free before your health or earning power dips is one of the most underrated forms of security there is.
4. START NOW, NOT "WHEN THINGS SETTLE DOWN"
Compounding needs time, and time is exactly what this data says we're short of.
Low-cost, globally diversified and boring beats clever, every single time.
5. DESIGN A LESS DEMANDING FUTURE
Is there an alternative life plan to your current one that could truly serve you better?
That could mean a different life rhythm, career, home, location or lifestyle.
Your future should not depend on your health and earning power remaining unchanged forever.
None of this is about fear.
We’re all navigating an uncertain future and trying to make the best decisions we can.
It’s about recognising that health, work and money are deeply connected, and sequencing your money so it serves your life.
What are your thoughts? Is this something you also have at the back of your mind? Comment below.
p.s. Treasure the healthy life you see today and enjoy the privilege of being alive 😊🙏🏽

There is a quiet feeling I know many professionals are carrying right now.
Doctors, Accountants, Teachers, NHS professionals, Engineers, Lawyers, Managers, Consultants and others.
They may not say it out loud and may still be doing well on paper.
But deep down, there is a question that refuses to go away:
“Is this still going to be enough for the future?”
Because the world is changing quickly.
AI is changing how work gets done.
Companies are changing how they hire. Industries are changing what they value.
And many people are looking at careers they have spent 10, 15, 20 or even 30 years building and quietly thinking:
“I know I need to pivot... but I don’t know how.”
That is a difficult place to be because you don’t want to start again.
You don’t want to throw away everything you’ve worked hard to build.
You don’t want to become someone you’re not.
But you also don’t want to stay stuck in one income stream, one job title, one career path, one way of earning.
And then life gets in the way.
Work gets busy. Children need you. Bills keep coming. Parents get older. Confidence comes and goes.
The idea you had gets pushed to next month.
Then next year.
Then one day you realise you’ve been carrying the same thought around for years:
“I know I’m capable of more, but I still haven’t done anything about it.”
I understand that feeling.
When Mary and I pivoted in our careers in 2020, we were not trying to become “online creators”.
We were trying to create better options.
Options for our family, our time and for how we could better serve people beyond the limits of our jobs.
That decision changed our lives.
And I believe we are now entering another moment where many professionals need to create new options.
By learning how to take what they already know and turn it into something that can live beyond their job title.
That is why Mary and I are building something new 😊.
It is called ManyStreams™.
Join the waitlist here: thehumblepenny.com/OTM
ManyStreams™ is for professionals who know they need to pivot in the AI era, but don’t want to throw away everything they’ve spent years building.
It will help you use AI practically to discover, build and launch income assets from your knowledge, skills and experience.
Even if you do not currently have an idea, don't think you are “technical”, or don't know where to start.
We've spoken with professionals who are stuck and unsure what to do.
Doctors, Accountants, Teachers, NHS professionals, Engineers, Lawyers, Managers, Consultants, and others.
People with years of wisdom who have never been shown how to turn that wisdom into something scalable.
ManyStreams™ is about building a bridge from where you are now to where the world is going next.
A bridge that helps you move from being paid only for what you do...
...to also being paid for what you know.
We are still building it, and we want to build it properly.
Mary, our boys and I are treating this as a family experiment, from idea to hopefully many lives changed.
I want you to see the journey and help shape it.
And if it resonates, I would love you to join the waitlist.
Joining the waitlist does not commit you to buying anything.

◾️ Learn how AI can help you bring your ideas to life faster

If you have wondered whether your knowledge and experience could become something more...
Then I think ManyStreams™ may be for you.
