It’s a very Optimus kind of day.

Got out of a meeting this morning and realized that I had a whole day to myself.

Went to where my childhood home once was. Haven’t been there in years. Went to a Target where, about six years ago, I drove an hour and a half the day before New Year’s Eve to get Siege Optimus before it had even been spotted by TFW. That’s where this big guy comes from.

I plan to eat lunch at my favorite place growing up before going to the store where I saw a G1 Optimus toy for the first time.

Tonight, I’m going to watch the G1 movie at the Mall of Georgia. It’s many hours away from where I live, but that was where my dad took me to see the 2007 movie.

I’m in a pretty good mood today, just reminiscing.

The big guy has no idea we’re going to watch him get dropped tonight. Hopefully his MTO episode tomorrow will be enough to make him forgive me!

IT’S A BIG WEEK FOR THE CHANNEL, EVERYONE!

Today, I uploaded the MANY Toys of Kranix, a little exploration into the last survivor of Lorthal.

Tomorrow, the first three episodes of Fighter Files from Street Fighter will be compiled, giving people a look into what I’ve been doing on ‪@TheFightEngine‬

On Wednesday, ‪@CreamOfButter‬ and I talk about our times here on YouTube and a shared love of the G1 movie.

It all comes to a head on Friday, where I finally dive into Part 1 of the MANY Toys of Optimus Prime!

Peter Cullen and the next Artist Alley

On ‪@CybernetSpaceCube‬ Kwaky Wacky, Bots Obsession, and myself just did an episode talking about Peter Cullen and his impact.

It’s a great episode, and I feel like I was finally able to verbalize all the emotions that had been swirling ever since we learned of his passing.

However, I don’t want to end it there. September was supposed to be Depth Charge for the Artist Alley, but I think we need to change gears.

Optimus Prime is the next Artist Alley character.

We all have so many thoughts and feelings over Peter Cullen’s passing. I hope that channeling that into artwork will help us all remember him and the creativity he inspired in all of us.
