🇵🇷 MADUROS vs 🇲🇽 PLÁTANOS FRITOS 🍌🔥

Different name… SAME delicious idea! 😍

In Puerto Rico we call them maduros, while in Mexico they’re commonly called plátanos fritos. Both are made with ripe, sweet plantains, sliced and fried until golden, soft, and caramelized. 🤤

Same way of cooking them… totally different name depending on the culture! 🇵🇷❤️🇲🇽

Mexico’s official Independence Day is September 16th, but the celebration begins the night before, on September 15th, with the famous Grito de Independencia — “The Cry of Independence.” 🔔🇲🇽

Many families celebrate with music, Mexican flags, traditional food, family gatherings, festivals, and fireworks. 🎆🌮🫔🎶

💜 A LITTLE UPDATE ABOUT IZAYANA’S SAFE SPACE 🦄✨

A few of you have reached out to me asking what Izayana needs, what she likes, or if there is anything you could help add to her room or her little safe space. First, I just want to say THANK YOU. The fact that you even think about my baby girl means more to me than you know. 🥹💜

A while back, I shared that I turned the closet in her bedroom into a small safe space for her. She loves going in there, relaxing, playing with her plushies, and just having her own little area where she feels comfortable. 🧸✨

She will be 4 in December, and she is such a smart, active and independent little girl. She loves having her own room and having her things organized in her own little way. It honestly makes my heart so happy watching her enjoy her space. 🥰

Since some of you asked if there was anything I wanted to add for her, I created an Amazon list called “Izayana’s Safe Space.” Everything on that list is ONLY for her. 💜 I added sensory-friendly and autism-friendly items that I think she would enjoy or that could make her room and safe space even more comfortable.
