Kathryn's Kanvas

I just finished the video for this week! It’s going up Friday at 9am (MDT).
I’m going through an old sketchbook from 2019, and giving you a lil sketchbook tour! A loooot of old (kind of bad, lol) drawings to show you. But rough drawings are part of art! So I’m showing you anyway haha 😬🌿

This drawing isn’t from it though, I did this one Monday night (: 🌹

I have a new video going up tomorrow morning (9am MDT). I’m drawing a fairy (surprise surprise 😉), but this time, she’s going undercover 👀
I’ll see you there! (:

Thank you for your support on last week’s video! You guys are so sweet, you literally made me smile so much from your nice comments, 🥹💜
I love you! ❤️

A new video goes up tomorrow! I’m letting you know here so I don’t jump-scare you with a new video popping up after four months 🙂‍↕️ (haha).
I’m designing a character off of a color palette! She got a lot of purple 💜

(This art is from my first (public) YouTube video! Only I’ve gone in and fixed a bit of anatomy that was bugging me since then:)

Hi!! I just wanted to stop by for a sec to show you something I’ve painted recently =)
I really like this one, I’ve had it half done in my backlog for a really long time, I think a couple years? But I finally pulled it back out again and finished it!

I’ve been loving painting lately, and so I’ve been doing a lot more of it! I haven’t figured out a way to make interesting videos with my paintings, because they take me a while to finish, the procreate speedpaints can be kinda difficult to see what’s going on, but regular screen recording speedpaint footage always crashes my editing program, haha. So, honestly, I’m a little lost on what videos to make for these downtimes when I’m doing more painting rather than drawing characters! But I’m still here and having fun! 😊 Just a little slow on the video production haha

Below is some spring artwork I want to share with you! I'm still planning on making videos, I'm just really enjoying taking my time with things lately. Life is too crazy to race through the stuff we enjoy doing!

If you want to see more artwork stuff (or you like reading my rambley posts, lol) the best way is to follow my Patreon. It's where I mainly upload paintings I make, like the one below. I share stuff on the free tier, too!

Hey, happy mid-January! I just wanted to post here and let you know what I've been up to, and a little about what I'm planning since I haven't posted a long video in a while!

I had a busy holiday and didn't get around to recording a video after my weird art block moment. But! I do plan on making more videos soon. I have a little idea that I think will be fun, and I plan on recording sometime this/next week!

I started making small clips of small moments in my day, and I've been uploading them as shorts. They're not completely art related, but I think it'll be nice to better note the quiet, peaceful moments so I can look back on my year and remember the calm. <3

I finally added a paid tier on my Patreon! I just started it this January, so there isn't a backlog of paid goodies yet. But I'm really excited to build a whimsical art environment for people who are interested.

Aaand I'll talk at you soon!
