Zero makes 100% fossil-free petroleum: fuels and chemicals identical to those from crude oil, made instead from water and carbon dioxide taken from the air, using renewable energy.

Our fuels are true drop-in replacements for gasoline, diesel, jet fuel and aviation gasoline, with the same performance and range and no engine changes needed, from classic cars and race cars to aircraft.

Hydrocarbons have given society immeasurable advantages. Zero's purpose is to keep those advantages while removing the fossil source, by building a fully circular, carbon-neutral supply at scale.

With the Royal Air Force, Zero secured the Guinness World Records® title for the first aircraft powered by 100% synthetic fuel in 2021. Our demonstration plant, Plant Zero.1 near Oxford, UK, is producing synthetic gasoline, diesel and jet fuel.
