This was the original spark. The Space Ace. The Space Man. A Les Paul strung on his shoulder. Smoke would literally billow out of it. SHOCK ME.

The lighting truss was no match as he fired rockets at it. ROCKET RIDE.

To a kid, a superhero. NEW YORK GROOVE.

To a teen, a way in to the guitar. DETROIT ROCK CITY.

As a musician, still copying his licks. RIP IT OUT.

To an old metal dad, thankful. Thankful for his influence. Thankful for his playing. Thankful to live in a time when Ace Frehley came to earth from Jendall. Thankful he showed me the love of music and rock n roll.
