okay hi 😭 this is september 29th bri writing this and you are reading this on your birthday.

i’m 14 right now and in year 9 and honestly life is kinda all over the place. there’s a lot going on and some things are really good and some things aren’t going that great. my friendships aren’t really going the best at the moment and i don’t really know where everything is going to end up. i guess that’s one of the biggest things i’m wondering about while writing this. i hope things are better by the time you’re reading this. i hope you’re surrounded by people who actually make you happy and i hope you don’t feel like you’re constantly trying to figure out where you stand with people.

right now i’m actually really looking forward to halloween, but i don’t even know what me and my friends are going as or if they even want to go with me. honestly i might end up going by myself lol. i really hope i don’t though. i just want to have a fun halloween and not spend the whole time worrying about friendships.

my channel is currently at 2.12k subscribers. i genuinely can’t believe i’m saying that. i’m hoping so badly that i get to at least 2.5k by my birthday. so future bri, how many subscribers do you have right now?? also i haven’t even posted my favourite video i’ve ever made yet. and i’m being VERY honest when i say i genuinely think it might be the best video i’ve ever made. like i haven’t even posted it while writing this and i’m already calling it my best 😭 so i really hope you ended up loving it just as much as i do right now. my current favourite swiftuber is ‪@swiftiesrule13‬ because she is SO talented.

and obviously we have to talk about taylor because this entire channel would not exist without that obsession.

my favourite album is STILL midnights. as always. literally nothing has changed. my favourite song that recently came out from the life of a showgirl encore is babylon and i am SO obsessed with patient zero and the music video. i’ve been playing patient zero and cleveland way too much lately. like actually way too much.

and i’m currently so confused about the whole patient zero situation because all the patient zero cds things arriving or shipping on october 13 makes me feel like SOMETHING is happening. i don’t know what but something feels suspicious. my current theory is that the life of a showgirl is going to be a double album, although i honestly doubt it. i still think TS13 is going to come out around march. the grammys are in january, so i feel like that’s enough time for an album to be released afterwards. i’m thinking maybe march 12 specifically. i wonder what taylor has announced by the time you’re reading this. i wonder if patient zero still feels exciting or if we’ve already moved onto something completely insane.

i still haven’t met river yet, sadly, and i’m really hoping we get to meet next year but who even knows. it’s crazy thinking that right now we’re still just talking from completely different places and i’m hoping that eventually we actually get to meet in person. i wonder what our friendship looks like by the time you’re reading this. i hope we’re still close and i hope we finally have some memories together in real life. we have been friends for 419 days!

there’s also so many people in my life right now that i don’t know if i’ll still be close with by november. friendships have been kinda complicated lately and i don’t really know what is going to happen. and that’s probably one of the biggest things i want you to remember. i hope i don’t disappoint my future self with the choices i’m making right now.

i don’t know what i’m going to do between now and november. i don’t know what choices i’ll make or what things will happen that i can’t control. but i hope when you look back at me, you understand that i was trying. i hope you don’t judge me for not knowing everything yet. i’m still figuring myself out and i’m still learning how to deal with people and friendships and school and work and everything else. i hope you’re proud of me.
