I build systems that solve real problems.
My background spans structural engineering, software development and applied AI. On this channel I present some the systems I've built and the problems they solve. Imagine automation tools, engineering software and AI applications.
Every project is explored through three layers - the why, what and how:
1. Principles (Why)
2. Architecture (What)
3. Implementation (How)
I will try to show how complex engineering problems could be solved by practical systems through stories, diagrams, code and demos.
No fixed schedule. Just publishing when there’s something worth sharing.
If that sounds interesting, I appreciate that you stick around.

Slowly persisting learning the Godot game engine (and game dev in general).
TIL
By default, the screen renders at 60Hz and so the physics process runs at 1/60th of a second, which means, I have to compress my logic (no matter how complex) within a 16ms time frame. I never worked with projects before that required such a limited budget runtime.
My solution is to decouple my logic from the physics process by using a simple helper function to extract (and return) the collision information then emit a signal. This way, the whole physics process won't need to "stack up" so much and cause noticeable lag. The tradeoff is that the downstream response is delayed until the logic is completed and updates are handled back to the physics process.

Structures and Systems
Not much; just a few starting class diagrams.
At least some progress today.
