Did you know there’s a creation museum in San Diego? It’s actually in a city called Santee, right outside.
It starts from the time of the dinosaurs and goes all the way to the time of the Roman empire when Jesus died on the cross!
It’s from a young earth perspective, but either way you lean on that, it’s got some amazing information to learn! The fossils and artifacts were out of this world!
The museum also has an entire section to human anatomy and physiology! It was a great time! My kids enjoyed it and so did my husband and I!
This past week we went to the Fleet Science Center down at Balboa Park in San Diego.
Last night, we had a big camp out. Needless to say, I am wiped out 😅
The campout was nice. It was my six years old first time camping and he slept through the night. Sadly, I did not. Helicopters were flying over and the city noises really annoyed me.
All ready thinking about curriculum for next year 😅 I have a problem lol
I’m thinking for my 9th grader of getting the master books bundle and being done with him.
I’m also thinking of doing the same for my 2nd grader, but keeping the rod and staff for reading/phonics. I looked at the language arts books and it’s mostly learning about verbs/nouns/etc. If I go this route, I won’t be getting him a handwriting curriculum because the master books looks like it will be enough.
This is SUPER random, but I can’t stop thinking about it.
We went to chick fil a the other day and they had a honey pimento cheese spicy chicken sandwich. I got it and man, the pimento cheese was amazinggggg! Took me back to my childhood days💜
So, I go off to the grocery store hunting for some pimento cheese… none to be found 😮💨 I try another store and another. NONE!!!!
I guess this is a southern thang and these Californias are once again missing out on something fantastic!
However, I’m still craving pimento cheese, so I’m here to ask y’all if you have an outstanding recipe for it!
I know I can google or YouTube, but I don’t have time to play around 😂 I want a good pimento cheese sandwich! Is that too much to ask for?!?!
In my garden today. Tomatoes are thriving and budding like crazy. Something keeps eating my strawberries. Two types of peppers, Fresno and something else 😅 guess we will see when they come in. My husband planted the peppers
