Hey, I’m Captain Katarn sci-fi geek and creator. I make Star Citizen videos, diving into ships, systems, and the fun that makes this game so damn compelling. I also like to do deep dives into development histories of games that shapes us like Cyberpunk 2077 and Mass Effect. Some nights I’m live here playing Star Citizen or you can catch me on my second channel playing whatever sci-fi masterpiece is calling my name.
Around here, it's all about calculated moves, unscripted moments, and the kind of perspective you only get after a few dozen ship wipes and bad trades. If you’ve ever clipped a landing pad at full speed and still called it a “tactical descent,” you’re among friends.

Breaking News on the Squadron 42 front. Steam had a major database leak and it seems Star Citizen's impacted. I'm not going to cover this on the channel since I don't want to do any further research or spoil the game for myself but check out this video from Santo Games for the break down.

1,000 citizens recruited. Wow!
That's 1000 people that watched one of my videos and decided this was something they wanted to play and jumped in. Some of you have been here for the 9 years I've been streaming or making video content on this game in some capacity, others got here last month because Star Citizen suddenly showed up on every feed on the internet.
The game is unfinished, it can break, and there's an entire internet's worth of people that are happy to tell you it's a scam. But 1000 of you trusted me that sometimes it's worth it anyway.
I promise to keep earning that trust by telling you what I think even when it's maybe not what you want to hear. After all if you agreed with everything I said all of the time do you really think for yourself?

I've been so obsessed with Star Wars: Zero Company that I spent the last 4 days playing and beating the game. Apologies again for my absence. It's time to get back to it. Hey guys, I decided to set the record straight I'd record and post my raw gameplay so you can see why I love this game, warts and all on my other channel Captain Katarn TV. This is the first video. The only edits in this series will be fast forwarding through elevators, travel, or downtime. The current PTU build was the best one I've played yet in terms of performance it was butter smooth and you can see it here.

Hey Guys, I'm going to be taking most of the week off. I'm working on a big VR performance guide that's taking more time than I expected. I'm hoping to get it out by late this week but I'm not sure if that will happen. Sunday will bring another off the cuff video on how youtubers make their money.
