Today’s shave featured Lavender Noir by Ariana & Evans paired with the all-new Rockwell Razors SetPoint Black Aluminum Adjustable Razor, set on Level 3.

What an outstanding, comfortable shave this morning! Level 3 is definitely the sweet spot for me — smooth, efficient, and incredibly comfortable.

And let me tell you… Lavender Noir is something special. Honestly, this is one of the best lavender fragrances I’ve ever experienced. It reminds me of stepping into a really nice old-school barbershop — clean, sophisticated, warm, and inviting. The scent notes are incredibly well blended, creating a fragrance with tremendous depth and character.

🌿 Scent Notes: Bergamot, Mandarin, Lavender, Geranium, Sambac Jasmine, Oud, Patchouli, Amber, Pink Pepper, Vanilla, Coffee & Benzoin.

This is a lavender fragrance that goes well beyond a traditional lavender scent. The combination of the floral, woody, spicy, sweet, and slightly gourmand notes makes this one very special.

Today’s Shave 🪒

Today’s Shave features Choco Cubano by Ariana & Evans, paired with the Blackland Blackbird Ti Razor.

For me, the sweetness of the chocolate combined with the tobacco is the star of the show. What a fantastic fragrance! It’s sweet enough to give you that rich chocolate character without becoming overly gourmand.

The fragrance opens with bergamot and tangerine, leading into a decadent heart of chocolate truffle, fig, and coffee. As it develops, rum and incense add warmth and depth, while cedar and sandalwood provide a smooth woody foundation. The tobacco ties everything together beautifully.

In today’s Shave of the Day (SOTD), I’m enjoying one of my all-time favorite traditional wet shaving scents: Ariana & Evans NERO e ROSSO, paired with the Never Alone Stainless Steel Safety Razor, an Aylsworth Altare shaving brush with a 26mm Pure Bliss knot, and TATRA Superior Stainless blades.

NERO e ROSSO is a collaboration with Daniele Maullu and opens with an incredible combination of black leather, black tobacco, and oud. It’s a deep, dark, sophisticated scent that I absolutely love and one of my favorite releases from Peter over at Ariana & Evans.
