No.34 Coffee&Breakfast-Brunch is a great place for a Turkish breakfast. Efficient and quick with excellent coffee. Prices standard but in this rare instance they were actually worth it.

Today I visited Hazar Turecka Kuchnia Domowa in Wola. A great find and on the repeat list. Had the Iskender kebab which was a huge portion. Lovely staff I got to speak four languages with and had a good time. The place has standard kebab but also portions of other varieties like any serious restaurant in Türkiye would. They haven't modified anything to Polish standards and use the original names and dishes. The interior is cozy and quite comfortable. I had many delicious teas and will come back another time for the sütlaç.

Halo Mian at Rondo Daszyńskiego was quite a good experience for no thrills Chinese food at a reasonable price level. Service quick and friendly, freshly prepared food, tasty kimchi. Seating could be more comfortable and lights are too shiny to be a truly atmospheric date night, but for a good meal the place delivers solidly.

Tried Panattoni Café Bar for breakfast. It has good ratings. While I didn't have anything bad enough to complain about, it was mediocre, from being served room temperature bottled water to a warm waffle on a stone cold plate. One gentleman serving had an automated gun tattoo on his hand which points at you when you get served your pricey coffee, so that says enough. Tasty enough but no reason for the upscale pricing. It is a place to see and be seen but doesn't warrant a repeat. Staff was friendly but the place was not for me.

I've tried Madame Thai, their new place at Nowolipki, twice this week. The food was pretty good and service new but very friendly. Unfortunately the prices are out of range, where it's 50 zł for the creamy soup with shrimp and it's easy to rack up 100 zł for a basic meal with a drink. This is out of line with much of the competition and the interior and comfort do not warrant the price. Otherwise recommended for a single try.

I've tried Restauracja Future & Wine again. It's quite good but it's off my repeat list. Service was excellent but the fine details miss for the price level of nearly 80 zł for the main dish. These are mostly that the food is served on stone cold plates and there's no noise dampening inside, meaning it's rather loud with groups inside and not good for a fine dining setting.

Being Dutch I love Indonesian food, but it's hard to find throughout Europe. In Warsaw there's one place in the old town but it wasn't good at all and a complete rip off. Instead I went to Mława and found Dapur Omah. Had a good nasi for 28 zł. Lovely staff and home cooked meals. Would stop by Mława again when traveling to northern Poland.

Nice day of breakfast at LAB coffee in Warsaw, then a train trip to Żyrardów. Didn't find a place to eat to my liking so went to Skierniewice for a soup at Peron 3/4. Then a city walk. Nice unexpected surprises included the station building of Skierniewice and its fancy toilets, and its gorgeous city park and farmers market. Total cost of the train was about 40 zł and it was a great day outside the city.

Ucieranie Treści in Pruszków is one of the best restaurants I've experienced in Poland. Excellent Polish cuisine but above all the waiters are a rare kind. They understand their trade since decades, which shows in all the little things. Espresso in an actual heated cup is rare nowadays, so is waiting to serve it until a guest returns from the bathroom.

It was excellent from beginning to end and I notice a lot of small things, as I've done the work for a decade myself. I couldn't fault this place for anything, it's a gastronomic joy worth every penny. The Polish music was a joy, so was the locally brewed beer. 10/10.

Went to the Vegan ramen shop Muranów twice in a row and it was quite good. Friendly service and excellent ramen, despite it doesn't look good on pictures, it really was. I think it's my favourite ramen place now, over Takesan, because it feels more low key and accessible. As far as I can see no draft beer but I really appreciated the free tap water.
