A film by Dilgo Khyentse Yangsi Rinpoche premiered at FCUBE Cinemas, KL Tower, Chabahil, at 5 PM on 5th May 2026.

The movie is based on the Newari and Tibetan communities and beautifully shows the importance of love, compassion, understanding among family members, and love for one’s country.

This was Rinpoche’s first film project, and he shared that he gave his best effort to it. Rinpoche also expressed that he will dedicate even more time and energy to his next project and make it even better.

We wish Rinpoche all the very best for his future projects.

📸 Last week at NBTV — a rare and insightful visit from His Eminence Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche.

We had the honor of hosting Rinpoche for a deeply honest and thought-provoking podcast conversation.

🧘‍♂️ He shared what a practical, day-to-day spiritual life truly looks like — from morning meditation to evening Mahakala Puja — grounded in real-life practice.

He also spoke candidly about his decision to leave monastic life, reflecting on the challenges of greed, politics, and corruption he witnessed within the system.

🧠 One powerful takeaway:
“Demons” are not external forces — the real challenge lies within our own untamed mind and emotions.

🔥 On human desires, Rinpoche offered a refreshing perspective:
They should not be suppressed like a chained lion, but understood through mindfulness and honesty.

💬 And to the youth facing struggles, depression, or uncertainty — his message was clear and compassionate:
No matter how difficult life becomes, it is never too late to keep going.
