I want to educate, inspire and empower you to build your dream home theater.
On this channel, you'll find honest reviews, product comparisons, setup tutorials, home theater tours, and practical tips to help you get the most from your audio and video system, regardless of your budget.
Whether you're building your first surround sound system or designing your dream theater, my goal is to help you enjoy movies, music, sports, and gaming at a whole new level.
I'm also the founder of CommunityAV, a network of local home theater communities across the U.S. and Canada where enthusiasts connect, share knowledge, tour theaters, and build lasting friendships through this hobby.

We currently have 5 CommunityAV groups in California, and three of them are growing nicely!
Los Angeles: 65 members
Inland Empire: 58 members
Greater Sacramento: 49 members
But our San Diego and Santa Barbara groups only have 3 members each!
I KNOW there are more home theater enthusiasts in these areas.
The whole reason I started CommunityAV was to help people connect with other LOCAL home theater enthusiasts.
Imagine having friends nearby who share your passion for home theater. People you can visit for movie nights, demo their systems, help with projects, share ideas, and just enjoy this incredible hobby together!
I HAVE A REQUEST
If you live in or near San Diego or Santa Barbara, join and get connected.
CommunityAV - San Diego:
www.facebook.com/groups/communityavsandiego/
CommunityAV - Santa Barbara, CA
www.facebook.com/groups/communityavsantabarbaracou…
And if you know someone in either area who loves home theater, send them a link or invite them to the group.
Let's get these communities growing!

I love hearing customers get excited when they upgrade their home theater.
@sean Casilli just received his @sofabaton X2 from CommunityAV and shared what he’s excited about.

Do you ever feel like a dummy? I'm going through all 80+ CommunityAV Facebook groups and just realized I never added Reno / Tahoe Nevada to the website!
If you are in the Reno / Taho Nevada area and are looking for other HT enthusiasts to connect with, join the group here: www.facebook.com/groups/communityavrenotahoenevada
It's no wonder myself and the admin are the only two in the group. LOL
Do me a favor, if you are in a group, go to communityav.com/pages/community and verify your group is on the list.
If you aren't connected with a CommunityAV group, join today.

I’ve decided to finally upgrade to the NZ900. If you are interested in a well cared for, less than 1,000 hour on the laser JVC NZ800, hit me up at youthman@communityav.com.
Photos were taken of my NZ800 on a 150” diagonal Seymour Center Stage XD in 2.35:1 screen using my iPhone 14 Pro and no editing.

“I don't know anyone in my area who is into home theater.”
“I've never experienced anyone else's home theater except my own.”
If that sounds like you, I've got some incredible news!
Home theater is a LOT more fun when you have local friends to share it with!
That's exactly why I started building the CommunityAV network earlier this year.
Today, we have over 2,600 members across 81 local groups!
These photos are from one of our CommunityAV meetups in Raleigh, North Carolina. Just a bunch of guys getting together, checking out an incredible home theater, and building friendships around something they love!
BONUS: I'm actually editing the Home Theater Tour of this room right now! Look for the video to drop this Sunday at 9 AM ET!
It's been incredible seeing friendships form as home theater enthusiasts connect with others right in their own backyard.
Many groups are meeting monthly for home theater demos, movie nights, and just hanging out with people who share the same passion.
And the best part? It's completely FREE to join!

Don't see a group in your area? I'd love to help you start one! Just reach out through the website and I'll help you get everything set up.
Home theater is so much more than just the gear. It's about the relationships we build along the way.
Enjoy the journey, together.
