Weekly weather podcast discussing weather, science, technology, and more from North Carolina and South Carolina. Plus expert insights on weather forecasts, live storm coverage, and live weather chats throughout the week as severe weather warrants.
Shortly after Hurricane Helene, we first visited Chimney Rock and Lake Lure and tagged along as "Christmas was brought to the people of western North Carolina." https://youtu.be/w0R19j86m_s?si=PG0xS...
We unfortunately won't be doing a lunar eclipse stream tonight. James is still under the weather (pun intended) and is opting for rest. With the storms and clouds out there tonight, we wish you the best of luck! The show won't be completely blocked but you may need to wish away some clouds.
No new show from us tonight, 7/29. We're compiling storm damage reports following last night's live storm coverage. We'll have a recap video later in the week. And we'll see you next Wednesday night for a brand new show!
We'll be back sooner, and anytime on the Carolina Weather Net, if the weather warrants.
Members get exclusive early access to our latest interview before it drops for the general public! James Brierton and Greg Fishel sat down for a fascinating chat with Evan Bentley, the Warning Coordination Meteorologist at NOAA’s Storm Prediction Center (SPC). If you’ve looked at the SPC severe weather maps recently, you might have noticed some big visual updates.
