Welcome, one and all, to my little corner of the universe! Here, I share bits of my life and aim to sprinkle positivity, spread kindness, share quirky moments, and maybe even convince you that squirrels are plotting world domination ( they're way to cute not to have a plan)
Along the way, I'll show glimpses of my astrophotography, things that I build or create, arts and sciences, how to make delicious food, story times, and the random nerdiness that is me!
Join the fun, and let's build a friendship! Whether you're here for the jokes, the squirrels (seriously, they're tiny, fluffy superheroes) or the random adventures, I'm all about connecting, uplifting, spreading and finding joy in the simple things. So stick around and make some memories with me! All are welcome here! (Except for the squirrels, they're already in charge)

When the afternoon light begins to tilt toward evening...
Outside, the sky melts into a soft purple and dark blue, as the stars pop into view one by one...
But inside these four walls, time slows to the rhythmic comforting sound of the slow simmering soup lightly bubbling away on my stove...
The soft clinking of my wooden spoon against the side of my old worn pot, the steady steam rising and swirling into the ambient glow of the room, and the rich familiar aroma of fresh herbs and baking bread filling the air...it wraps around me like a cozy blanket.
Whether it's watching dough slowly rise on the counter, tending to a pot of soup on a chilly day, or sitting down at the table under soft light to enjoy the first bite, the kitchen is where real peace lives. It isn't just about the food...it's about the warmth, the quiet joy of creating something with my own hands, and the simple comfort of being right where I am happiest.....home. ✨️ 🪶
Where is your absolute favorite cozy spot to unwind when you need a little peace? Tell me in the comments! 👇✨

Soup season is officially here, and the kitchen smells amazing tonight...🍲🥖✨
There is nothing quite like warm candle light, a steamy mug of homemade soup, and a fresh slice of garlic herb bread straight out of the oven to make the whole house feel cozy.

200 days of Swedish on Duolingo and the owl hasn't kidnapped my family yet! 🇸🇪✨
I officially hit my 200-day streak, and I’ve got the shiny badges to prove it! Honestly, at this point, I’m pretty sure my brain is 50% Blueberries and Pizza and 50% random Swedish vocabulary....
jordgubbsflodhäst 😅🥰😅
Jag talar svenska... kind of? At least enough to navigate a severe fika emergency! ☕️🥐
Screenshots of the milestone badge and awards attached because if you don't flex the streak, did it even happen? 🥳📱
All my love,

Emergency Update from the MoonSquirrel Kitchen! 🐿️🚨
A fresh batch of homemade cinnamon rolls with extra cream cheese frosting is currently cooling on the counter, and the backyard wildlife is already assembling a tactical team at the window. 👀 🍽
I’m giving you first dibs before the squirrels figure out how to work the doorknob. Grab a cozy blanket, pop a warm roll on a plate, and come hang out!
All my love,
MoonSquirrel ❤️ 🌙🐿

The local squirrels called an emergency staff meeting today. The main agenda item? "Why haven't all these awesome people hit subscribe yet?" 📋🐿️
I had to make a whole video just to calm them down! This guy made a compelling argument and now the squirrels are enforcing it. 🐿️🤷♀️
Please subscribe before they start rationing the campfire snacks! Hit that button and let me know you made it out safe in the comments! 👇✨

Ever have a random moment hit you with a deep life lesson? Here's mine for the day 😅...
I was literally just chopping potatoes when this little guy called me out... 🥔✨
Every single potato in the bag was uniform, round,....predictable. And then, right in the middle, was this one. A random, oblong, rectangular potato sitting in a sea of perfect circles.
I stared at it for a minute, laughed a little, and then felt that old, familiar sting of every time I’ve been called "too weird".
You would think being called weird is something you deal with only when you're young...but no.
When you dont fit the mold...
When you walk your own path instead of the beaten trail...
When you prefer wearing mismatched socks 😅
Even as an adult...even recently...being told "you are weird" brings back that sting...that sorrow of being made to feel that you are somehow less of a human being because you prefer to be unique...and at the core...just being yourself...instead of being like everyone else.
But you know what? Being the weird potato in a bag of round ones isn't a flaw. It just means you were made with a little extra magic. 💫
Here's to the oddballs, the misfits, and everyone who never quite fit into a neat little circle. You ARE magic. Your light, your weirdness, and your unique shape belong here. 💫😉
All my love,
MoonSquirrel ❤️🌙🐿
