I hope you've enjoyed the tutorials. I really mean that. I knew I was late to the game when I started doing these videos in 2019 but I never imagined I'd get to over 1300 subscribers and 800,000 views. That might seem like peanuts compared to successful YouTube channels, the ones that earn money but it's incredible to me that somebody cared, that you cared. To all those who subscribed, who liked the videos, who gave nice comments, and thought I was good enough to take requests. Thank you, deeply, its made making the videos feel worthwhile, its kept me going as far as I have and its just nice to feel appreciated for the work and get constructive criticism when I made a mistake along the way.

Back when I originally quit at the beginning of 2025, I was going to make a big farewell video that would show some of the behind the scenes, trivia, what went into making the videos etc etc but that seemed long-winded but I was leaving a then 6 year series I put a lot of time, focus and effort into. Now, after 7 to 8 years, and with GTA 6 on the horizon, it feels right to finish it.

While I am glad I returned, I'm proud of what I created and that I pushed myself a lot further creatively and made more good content than I thought I was capable of. The truth is I want to move on, put my focus toward other passions and projects I want to do also. And I need to rest, reboot, recharge or I'll get burnt out and resentful and that's not a good working mindset. It was fun and challenging but the last two months have been exceptionally draining after doing to 2 to 3 videos per day. And it takes a lot to make these videos.

Plus I'm running out of ideas and with GTA 6 on the horizon, I think its safe to say GTA 5 has had its time, most definitely well deserved but nothing lasts forever and I just got to move on. If I was still doing GTA V videos in say 2033, it'd be admirable, an A for effort for going that long but it would be stale. Besides, it's not like I'm earning any money from this unlike other YouTubers who are either able to make a living and then some or those who earn some side money.

In the meantime, I plan to move on to GTA 6 and start doing videos sometime in the new year. While I'm not taking any more requests, I hope these videos help any requesters to make their desired characters.

In the meantime, happy Halloween, merry Christmas and happy new year ~rbg1.

As I'm going to be away for the week in an hour. It seemed like now was a good time to be adding my final update to the channel schedule from now until the end of October.
Content wise, the rest of August is sorted.

But September. Ah. That's the beginning of that final mega series of videos which I have hinted at. I'm going to be recreating Jesse Pinkman from Breaking Bad. A series of his highlights through Breaking Bad much like I did with Walter White in 2024.
This is the main goal as yet. Hopefully I will have it done before the month is out.

For October, I will be filling Horror Month with ... well I might be scraping the barrel here and there but there will be a wide range of Horror characters aplenty.

If there is any spare / reasonable amount of time, I will try to cover any requests. Any requests made during the week will have to be answered afterwards.

After Halloween 2026, I will be stopping the GTA 5 tutorials.

CHANNEL UPDATE:

I am going on vacation in a couple days for 2 weeks in Greece. It has been a pretty productive year so far and I am glad with what I have been able to make. We are still in the random video era. But nearing towards a themed series that I've been meaning to do. And no worries, like my last holiday, I have made sure there are videos ready to air during my absence.

As always, as I like to detox from screens, any requests or comments made during that time will have to wait until I get back for a response.

In the mean time, I hope you enjoy what videos come out and give some love to the channel by watching older videos, lesser viewed videos, liking, sharing and subscribing. The usual YouTube shtick.

In the meantime, RBG1 down (still not out)

Here is an UPDATE to the Channel for the rest of the year.

Having just finished my superhero / supervillain focused series, I have to say this was a project and a half. Im suprised I was able to recreate half of what I did and go for as long as I did. But I hoped you liked it.

Schedule wise, here's the plan:

-The Super series will end on the 23rd June

-I have another series planned but I'm going to do random tutorials and any requests I can from my list in the meantime and then do said series once i've cleared my list.

- I'm planning on finishing these GTA 5 tutorials after Halloween (2026), this includes posts and requests. I'm hoping to do a Horror Month, I admit I am scraping the barrel here but there will be more content than last year's Halloween.

I figure that's a nice time to end it just before GTA 6 releases. And let's face it, once it does release, GTA 5 won't be in the limelight as it once was. The tutorials had to end sometime and I can think of no better time. Its been nice returning to do these videos and I consider these most recent videos to be among my best work. But what's truly made them special and made it all worthwhile to work on is all the appreciative comments, likes and views you (the subscribers) have given them, be they new or old videos.

I am planning on doing GTA 6 tutorials, which will start once I get the game, get the lay of the land and get set up. I can't say for sure when I'll start doing videos again but could be next March or April. As always if there are any changes, check the post section.

Until then, I'll be down but not out.

Starting tomorrow, I am going away for the week on holiday. I love doing these videos and I hope you have loved watching them but they take a lot of time and effort to plan out and produce, and naturally, I need to take a break from it at times.

But don't worry, I've made sure to schedule videos (same gravy time, same gravy channel) during my absence, a little beyond it XD. The Superhero and Supervillain streak isn't finishing just yet. I hope you enjoy the videos I have pre planned. I know I sure am surprised with what I've been able to recreate on GTA V, it is quite a vast variety.

If there are any requests made in the meantime, I'll try to find them in the comments but only when I get back sometime in early May. Same procedure as usual to any long-time viewers.

Well it has been an interesting couple of months so far. Aside from a few exceptions, I have mainly covered a lot of tough guy GTA V tutorials on the channel. A mix of heavy hitters, uncompromising gritty action heroes and villains, powerful mob bosses, unhinged gangsters, classic crooks, old professionals, hotshots and rising talent. I have covered quite a selection. But it means nothing without your support, thank you.

But that streak ends today as tomorrow I am going to focus on a different theme: Superheroes and Supervillains.

You won't believe it but I can only assure you it CAN be done, I found a way.
Tune in to find out. Same Gravy Time, Same Gravy Channel!

Well it's 2026 and I'm back and I'm buzzing!
Had a nice break, spent time with family and enjoyed receiving some nice Xmas gifts and bringing in the New Year.
Looking forward to whatever 2026 may bring.

2025 sure was not my typical year, from having briefly retired for a few months, to having software trouble, inconsistent breaks, experimenting with the format, titles and thumbnails of the video, to having a new editor and even a Patreon.

But through all that, I maintained my workload and ambition to tackle trickier characters and new genres ... at a mostly consistent pace.
I'm pleased to announce already that ambitious mentality is still going strong circa 2026!

Happy New Year to all be you longtime subscribers or newcomers!

And yes, I drew that Demogorgon drawing myself.

With today's video, that is it for Spy Week. Hope you have enjoyed the theme. I tried to cover a wide variety of characters from the spy genre, specifically ones I haven't already done.

As Christmas is coming, I am going to be taking a break to enjoy it but no worries, I have filled the rest of December with tutorials, and requests as gifts to requesters. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. See you sometime early in the New Year.

It's been a while since I did a themed series.
Prepare for SPY WEEK.
Where I recreate spies and some spy villains.
Enjoy.
