Hey there! 👋 I’m Maurice, and every video I make revolves around one belief: that the most important things for us to pay attention to are the things we do and use every single day.
What I mean is, we’re conditioned to prioritize and focus on life’s “exclamation marks” - the new car, the big vacation, the wedding day, the career change - but the truest way to have the biggest impact on our lives is how we write the sentences between those exclamation points - the regular everyday tools, habits, and actions we use day-in-day-out that enable those exclamation marks in the first place.
Because of this, my videos typically fall into three categories:
• Everyday Carry (EDC)
• Everyday Habits (Health & Productivity)
• Everyday Growth (Entrepreneurship & Exploration)
Thanks for spending some of your time with me - I hope you’ll keep visiting when you can!

Storytime: my cousin’s daughter is almost 12 now, but when she was 5, a kindergarten classmate made fun of her for being bad at BeyBlades… which lead to a 5 year old boy living rent free in my head. I spent FORTY dollars on these freakin’ things and we modded and practiced for MINUTES and she destroyed the ops the following Monday. This is probably the pettiest I’ve ever been in my life. Anyways… my cousin just sent me a pic of those BeyBlades parts and said they’ve been doing some cleaning and will add them to the donation box but wanted to see if I wanted them… f*%#ing OBVIOUSLY I do 😤🙂↕️

🎒EDC-Carry and Bag-Lovers: I’ve never owned anything from Topo Designs, but considering buying a few pieces to test out. If you’ve bought anything, I’d love your vote 🙏 The vote question is: based on your Topo Designs bag purchase(s), do you feel:

🗳️DECIDE MY FATE: Since I was a kid, I always wanted a Lego shark lol, but for whatever reason, never got a set that had one. I’m on the Lego website now because I have to buy Lego as a gift for a birthday get-together next weekend, but SINCE I’m on the website already………………

🧑🧑🧒🧒 EXTREMELY Random: I'm in Jakarta now typing these words in the lobby restaurant, and there's this young family (with two toddlers) at the next table over, and for the past 30-ish minutes, the cyclical routine has been:
1) Toddlers get restless and start messing around
2) Mom gives the death-stare
3) Toddlers look to dad for safety
4) Dad pats their heads and they half-behave temporarily
5) Toddlers commit to testing the limits
6) Mom instructs toddlers to return to their seats
7) Toddlers ignore mom
8) Dad leans forwards in his chair pretending he's about to stand up
9) Toddlers run to mom's embrace and behave again
10) Mom and Dad nod to each other
... then back to Step 1 to wash-rinse-repeat. It's the mutual nod in Step 10 for me 😂
... and to answer your next question, yes, I've just wasted 40 seconds of your time with zero takeaway... sorry... I'll see myself out 🙇♂️

💈🤔Curious and asking the fellas: how much is a "basic" men's haircut where you live? IF possible, can you share your country and the price you expect to pay in YOUR local currency? (e.g. Toronto, Canada - $35-$45) 🙏

🧰 When it comes to power tools, are you (YouTube only lets me give 4 options, but I think these are the current 4 most ubiquitous - if you're locked into another brand, feel free to comment)...
