🕯️ The true story behind KOTHAR
On the night of 31 March 1922, on a lonely farm called Hinterkaifeck in Bavaria, Germany, six people were murdered: an elderly farmer, his wife, their widowed daughter, her two small children, and a maid who had arrived for work that very same day.
Every one of them was killed with a mattock.
But the murders are not the most frightening part of this case. What happened BEFORE them is.
In the months before that night, the farmer told his neighbours strange things. He heard footsteps in the attic. He found footprints in the snow leading from the forest to the farm, and none leading away. A newspaper nobody had bought turned up in the house. A set of keys went missing. And the previous maid had quit months earlier, saying the house was haunted and she could hear voices from the attic.
Then came the part that still chills investigators a hundred years later. For days after the killings, someone stayed on at the farm. The cattle were fed. Food from the kitchen was eaten. Neighbours saw smoke rising from the chimney.
The murderer, or something else, was living in the house with the dead.
More than a hundred suspects were questioned over the decades. No one was ever charged. The case remains unsolved to this day.
When I first read about Hinterkaifeck, one question would not leave me alone: who was in that attic?
KOTHAR is my answer. I carried the bones of this case into a remote house on a barren ridge in Kinnaur, Himachal Pradesh, in 1994, and turned it into a murder trial where every witness brings the courtroom one step closer to the room beneath the roof.
Names, places and events have been changed. The fear has not.
🎧 KOTHAR, the full audio film, is out now on Bhay Originals. Link in the comments.
Tell me in the comments: who do YOU think was hiding in the attic at Hinterkaifeck? 👇

I’ve just dropped this on X (Twitter) to ask @TeamYouTube to fix this absolute joke.
Like, retweet, tag them in the replies, and let them know the only thing artificial here is this demonetization claim.
Let's make some noise! 👇🔥

Forward this post to one creator you love. One creator whose work you would genuinely miss if it disappeared tomorrow.
One creator who deserves to know that Indian law gives them the right to fight back — and that they do not have to fight alone.
I have built a free legal resource at reclaimyourvoice.carrd.co/ — a template grievance letter, a step-by-step action plan, and a solidarity register for every original Indian creator who has been wrongfully demonetized.
It costs nothing. It takes one hour. And together, hundreds of us filing formal legal grievances is something YouTube cannot ignore.
The algorithm came for my channel.
It will come for your favorite creator next.
Share this. Tag them. Let them know we are organizing.
Original. Human. Unsilenced.

Hello Bhay Vasis.
Update: Appeal kar diya hai, but still waiting for the final word.
Whatever the outcome, one thing is certain: Bhay Originals isn’t stopping. I started this for the love of horror and the art of storytelling, and no "authenticity" tag can change the truth of what we’ve built here.
It’s frustrating to see the platform profit from ads on our hard work while telling us we don't "fit the criteria." But honestly? This just gave me more fuel. I’m going to work double as hard now because I have a vision for this universe that no one can take away.
The journey continues. Stay tuned. 🕯️

Good Morning Bhay Vasis, YouTube just nuked my channel with demonetization saying that I add no significant value and mass produce content. Well, I will appeal this, but just in case, YouTube doesn't reinstate my monetization, this will be the end of my YouTube journey. Thank you everyone for being a part of my journey :) Follow me on Spotify to continue to be a part of this journey - open.spotify.com/show/2MEX847Jaz0HbcapMKGGJN?si=fe…
