Being in front of the camera comes with a responsibility that extends far beyond the frame.
When people are watching, listening, and looking to you for direction, your words carry weight. They influence perspectives, shape beliefs, and sometimes give others permission to make decisions they might not otherwise consider.
Leadership requires more than a platform. It demands accountability, integrity, and the willingness to stand on truth, even when it isn’t popular.
In light of recent conversations surrounding marriage, ministry, and biblical interpretation, I addressed this issue on the @mlbmatthewbrown page.
We must be careful not to confuse influence with authority or cultural acceptance with biblical truth. Just because people are listening doesn’t mean everything being said should go unquestioned.
The greater your platform, the greater your responsibility for what you present from it.
Last month, our guests and Aligned members really went there. We asked the hard questions, had some honest conversations, and created space to do the work together.
So in October, we’re building on that.
Room to Grow: What’s Taking Up Space? October 22 at 8PM EST.
Because sometimes before you can make room for what’s next, you have to figure out what’s taking up too much space right now.

Sometimes the work starts in the conversation. Sometimes it continues in what you sit with afterward.
Following, watching, and liking the posts is one thing. Stepping into the room, engaging the work, and allowing yourself to be challenged is another.
Aligned creates room for both—the honest conversations that challenge how you see yourself and the reflection that helps you keep growing beyond the session.
The feedback from Breaking the Frame says it best. And for members, the work continues with the August Webinar Recap Drill—an opportunity to go back beneath the surface, reflect, and keep moving toward what’s next.
If you’ve been watching from the outside, go further.
Discernment isn’t just knowing what to do—it’s knowing who to listen to.
Whose voice do you have in your ear?
Is it the voice of familiarity telling you to stay where you’re comfortable? An enabling voice excusing what needs to change? A demeaning voice making you question who you are and what you carry?
Every voice doesn’t deserve access to your decisions. Some voices reinforce the very frame you’ve been called to break.
Tune your ear to voices that challenge you, sharpen you, and align with your destiny. The right voices won’t keep you confined to who you’ve been—they’ll help you recognize who you’re becoming.
Examine the voice. Break the frame. Move in the direction of your calling.
Thank you to everyone who joined me for Breaking Frames. It was a powerful night of honest conversation, meaningful discovery, and realignment.
Tonight, ask yourself: What is my reflection revealing about who I’ve been—and who I’m becoming?
You don’t have to reject your past to make room for your future. Keep what grounds you. Release what confines you. Continue becoming aligned for what’s next.
Examine the frame. Interrupt the script. Expand your identity.

Sometimes the hardest thing to examine is what’s closest to you.
The people, relationships, routines, and environments we’ve grown comfortable with aren’t always the ones helping us grow.
So here’s a question worth sitting with: Is what’s taking up space in your life actually making room for your future?
This Thursday, we’re getting into that conversation during Aligned: Room to Grow — What’s Taking Up Space?
Join me October 22 at 8 PM EST. Let’s take an honest look at what we’re holding onto and what may need to change.

Sometimes progress requires changing your pace, not your purpose.
Maybe the problem isn’t where you’re going.
Maybe you’re bringing old patterns into a new season. Still operating in ways you’ve already outgrown.
Moving different means recognizing what needs to change so you can keep moving toward the purpose.
And sometimes, moving different is exactly what creates room to grow.
In October, we’re looking at the space we’ve created—and asking a harder question: What’s still taking up space?

Buffalo taught me a long time ago: when the pressure changes, you adjust and keep moving.
That’s home for me. That’s part of what shaped me. And today, my home team showed that same Buffalo resilience.
My hometown. My home team. Proud of both. 3–0. Go Bills! 🦬❤️💙

September is about movement—but not just for the sake of moving.
It’s about recognizing when growth requires a different direction.
Different decisions.
Different responses.
Different patterns.
A different pace.
Last month, we broke the frame. This month, we pay attention to what changes when we step beyond it.
Because if you’ve grown, learned, healed, or become more aligned, eventually it should show in how you move.
This month: Move Different.

Some limits only exist because you’ve never questioned the frame.
And sometimes, you don’t realize how much a frame has shaped you until you’re ready to grow beyond it.
That’s where we’re headed this Thursday for Break the Frame, our August Aligned for What’s Next webinar.
Thursday, August 20 | 8 PM EST
Aligned members, be sure to RSVP. Not a member? Grab a Guest Pass and join us for the evening.
Come ready to look beyond what’s been familiar—and make room for what’s next.
