Y’all are arguing about Hakeem Jeffries becoming Speaker of the House, and he hasn’t even officially gotten the job yet.
How did we go from celebrating a landslide victory to suddenly having conversations about getting rid of Jeffries and Schumer?
Make it make sense.
Here’s the truth: Nobody is exactly lining up to take these jobs.
There are plenty of other positions available in both the House and the Senate. Being Speaker or party leader isn’t the only way to have influence or make a difference. And let’s be honest, these aren’t exactly easy jobs, especially when you’re dealing with a divided government and a party that can’t seem to agree on anything.
I think some people are getting ahead of themselves. We just came off an election victory, and instead of taking a moment to appreciate what was accomplished and figuring out how to build on that momentum, we’re already talking about tearing down the leadership.
Criticism is fair. Accountability is necessary. But at some point, we have to ask ourselves: What’s the actual plan here?
You can’t keep demanding that people step aside without having a realistic conversation about who is willing to step up and what they would do differently.
When I say white women are the most dangerous group in this country, this is what I meant. Haley Stevens goes full heel and betrays the Democratic Party (not just Abdul) by endorsing Mike Rogers.
Haley will be remembered for being the biggest sore loser this election cycle. You say that you’re against hate but endorses the racist Trump-backed candidate!

WOW!!!
Democrats really swept up the republicans during the midterms!
I’m happy to see people are finally waking up!
While we celebrate tonight, don’t forget there’s still work to do!

Jasmine Crockett has spoken…
Remember yall said she was trying to sabotage Talarico? Y’all even praised Haley Stevens and stated Crockett should be more like Stevens.

I want to make a statement before Tuesday’s election…
I hope I’ve done enough… I hope I inspired you to register and vote.
I hope I helped educate your guys.
I hope I got you guys to disagree with my crazy perspectives 🤣
I hope I was able to spark real conversations.
I don’t know if I’ve done ENOUGH, but I won’t stop advocating for what I believe in.
